These say they are suitable for cables "up to" 7mm. In fact if the cables are any smaller these will not grip it.This means any kinks in the cables are still seen as you are not able to tension the cable straight. They will guide your cables and wires, but it won't look particularly neat. Fine if you just want to clip it up behind a desk or whatever, but not if they are visible.Also great if you want temporary fixings as the cables can easily be un-clipped if required - for example to take your shaver or toothbrush on holiday.
