Thanks to its robustness, reliability and performance characteristics it gained a significant position on the European truck market and was the most widespread industrial vehicle in Italy in the late 1980s. It was declined in numerous versions and in numerous installations to respond in a timely and precise manner to the demands of the user companies. The versions with tarpaulin were widespread. They guaranteed a high flexibility of transport of all types of goods. Another great advantage of 190.42 tarpaulin was the load capacity linked to the overall contained dimensions. The size to volume ratio offered an important flexibility of use for transport in smaller urban centres and outside the motorway routes. The hydraulic rear rail was often completed to facilitate the loading and unloading of goods.
