It works!
Be patient!! Let it dry. Don't make the same mistake I did. I let it dry for about 2 hours and wiped with a damp cloth, it looked dry but wasn't. I then reapplied again and let it dry for 7 to 8 hours. I wiped it with a damp cloth and it was dry. I then applied a second coat and it let dry another 8 to 10 hours. I tested with a damp cloth and it was dry. I then applied a leather conditioner and it looks really good. You can't expect it to be perfect, but if I didn't tell you where it was applied you wouldn't know, I do because I did it. If you follow the instructions and don't expect a miracle I think you will be very happy with the out come! I tried the brush, but the sponge works the best. BTW, this was done on the headrest of my dark brown leather sofa.

Amazing!!!
I have a Bernhardt sectional that is over 15 years old. Between dogs, kids and normal wear the couch had looked worn and filled with scratches. I tried applying conditioner and rubbed to see if I could blend the scratches, but didn’t work. I was about to contact a company locally to help revive. But, then did some research and found this product. This one particularly caught my eye as people stated it didn’t rub off on clothing compared to other competitors that did. So, ordered and received same day with Amazon. (Which, was fabulous!)Did a test area and let it sit overnight. Then, decided the next day to go ahead and do each of the 5 cushions and touch up only spots on the rest of the couch. I set up a working table to work on each cushion and then move to an area to dry. That was helpful as I didn’t have to bend down to do this and knocked out fairly quickly. I did wipe down each cushion with a damp cloth before applying the balm and let it dry. Then, I applied the sponge to the jar to get a small amount and blotted on a plastic dish before using on the furniture. I read one review that mentioned not applying too much. I agree, work in the die into circle motion and apply all over making sure not to see paint drips and assure it all soaked in. For the trim around the seat cushion I used the brush and then rubbed it lightly to take off excess with lint free cloth. I did this for each of the five cushions and let it dry for about 6 hrs. Then brought it up on my couch and applied leather conditioner and let it sit over night. I was worried that the color applied to the seats wouldn’t match the rest of the couch, but was pleased with how well it matched. I only did one coat of die, but was very pleased. Only one cushion shows slightly a couple scratches and can do that later with another coat if needed. The overall result is wonderful!! I saved my couch and not embarrassed for company to see it anymore. I ordered the 8oz jar and only used 1/4 of it. So, a little goes a long way. See my before pictures and after. You won’t regret buying, just that you didn’t do it earlier.

Does what it says.
First, I had to stop after an initial application on a small area of my back car seat because I realized it's not black leather but really dark blue-gray. Anyway, the formula is a good weight--not thick and pasty as I had feared--and was easy to apply; there was enough on the underside of the seal for my first use. Although it comes with two large sponges and a small brush for tiny spots, and a pair of disposable gloves similar to those that come in boxes of hair color, use your own gloves or buy a box of nitrile gloves while you're on Amazon, especially if you're going to be going back to reapply or only doing one small section at a time. No strong smell and dries relatively quickly. Wash the sponges, your bare hands, or anything else immediately after use. Although the sponge(s) will still be stained, the color won't transfer. These are handy sponges.

Keeping it looking new
Awesome product worked really well on my leather coach. Where it was fading.

Works just like advertised.
This product is amazing. I have a Fendi purse with some surface scratches. I ordered the medium brown for this application. I actually applied three very light coats of this product on the entire brown leather surface of this purchase. I let each coat completely dry for 8 hours. After the second coat, I could barely see the scratches. The third coat was a charm. Looks brand new. I am very happy with this product. Please note: the color of the leather did not change. Just looks lighter because the pictures were taken in two different lighting environments.

Pretty good job at hiding flaking faux leather
I was pretty skeptical that I could gouch up the areas on my faux leather couch that “rubbed off”. I wanted to try this before we purchased a new couch. As shown in the before and after pictures, it looks great!! Obviously this paint can't fix the flaking leather, but it sure hides it well! I don't have any input on how long it lasts because I only just applied it today. But you get a huge amt of paint for 25$ and a little paint goes a long way!

Great coverage & Easy to use
I bought this to fix some wear on a Gucci tote and it did a fantastic job! Admittedly the Dark Brown may have been the wrong color but the coverage is great. It’s very easy to use and clean-up is very fast. A little bit goes a long way so I feel like it’s a great value. It’s not sticky and does not smell. I really love the way it looks when it’s dry!
