For starters, this is a travel size set that’s designed to take up very little space. That being said, the set will NOT have full functionality of full sized tools like heat settings, leverage, etc. This makes sense bc of its smol size. If the perks of heat adjustment is important to you, please just take your full size tool to avoid frustration.I find this set most adaptable to short to medium hair. Styling longer hair is possible but will require a bit more work as you might only curl half the length at a time bc of the smaller size barrel.Will confirm that it does get pretty hot since there are no settings. For most of my hair, the heat setting is fine so long as my hair is dry. If you use hair products, let it dry some bc wet + heat = burn/frizzy. Bc science, idk.My trick to bangs is doing them last. Since bangs are typically shorter and less volume of hair, you don’t need full heat. I unplug the iron, let it cool down enough I can touch the housing edge (not the heating element folks) and feel it’s just hot enough then curl my bangs. Since people’s hair is different thickness, this might be a trial and error process.Ultimately I love this set for the space saving reason. That is more important to me than heat settings. The hair dryer is my fave and like this one better than my Babybliss. The flat iron is second followed by the curling iron.The one big thing I did not like is the absurd jump in price. I got this set late in 2023 and it was only $75. The fact it’s doubled in price in less than 6 months irks me so. Hope you find this info helpful. Be your own kind of beautiful. <3

I wanted a small travel set for my lengthy trip to Europe and this set has suited my purpose perfectly. Some reviewers thought the set didn't get hot enough or was too small to do its job, but I have very long, very thick hair and I felt pulled together every day. I chose Chi because of their reputation and I am very very pleased with this product.

Although the iron worked quite well, I was very disappointed with the blow dryer as both times are used it. It shorted out in the US and then blew out in the UK.

Good bundle for price. Traveling bag is not as pictured. Dryer is powerful/quiet; high and low temp. Tools are lightweight; 1 temperature (only features on/off button) The plug in cords are adequately long, and the curler has a nice stand to prevent burning. I am very satisfied with my purchase, and would highly recommend this, especially for arthritic hands because they are so lightweight and easy to manipulate.

I am very disappointed with the basic function of these 3 products. The mini hairdryer is 💯 ineffective no power at all. . No power to products. Purchased for travel and missed the return window. I would like my money back .

I had to return this because we did not realize it was a travel kit.I have very thick hair..so the size of the flat iron would not work for me since it's about an inch shorter, but I had another Chi for 10 years until it finally went kaput. The hair dryer was very powerful.Would have kept it if the flat iron would have been the original size...just didn't want to take twice as long to straighten or curl my hair, since I have so much of it.For anyone with a regular amount of hair..or less...I highly recommend this product.

The tools are cute little travel sizes, but totally useable even on my long hair. You just need to learn how to pass the curler or straightener through the length of your hair properly. They get plenty hot with no temp control, but I like my hair tools hotter to hold the style and they work super fast. The curler has a nice rubber rest. My hair looked great on vacation. The hair dryer just stopped working after a few times annoying, but most hotels have dryers so that wasn’t a huge deal. The heatproof bag is nice. I think this should be less money but it’s nice to have a decent travel set.

Love it...wish the hair dryer had a warm setting though.
