What was expected
It is what it is, it's a cheap frame. I wasn't buying it to frame a priceless work of art or my diploma, it was for an achievement award my 7th grader got from school. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on it. I didn't. It looks good, it has plastic instead of glass so he can't break it in his room.It's not the greatest frame ever but it was cheap and filled a need.

Sufficient for the price
We bought these to display certificates in our school office. The price was right but the quality is slightly lacking. There is no glass (only a medium weight piece of clear plastic) and the construction feels a little flimsy. Overall, they look fine on the wall and definitely suited our needs.

Not worth the shipping or the cost
I was disappointed in the frame. The shipping was extremely high. If the frame had been worth it, I might have tolerated the shipping costs better. The frame is very cheap. It is also NOT as shown in the photograph. I thought it would have the stand-up leg on the back as is pictured, so that it could sit on a bureau. It did not. It was a wall-mount only. The clear "plastic" over the document area was just a flimsy sheet like a report cover, rather than the hard plastic I had expected. I regret buying this frame. It was not what I was led to believe in the ad.

Does the job nothing fancy
I should have read more....this is just a frame with a thin sheet of plastic for the face. Bought two, one is great, the second one the plastic sheet is wavy and you can tell even from a distance.

Nice inexpensive 8.5x11 frame
This frame is a good value. It is a decent looking frame for a very low price. If you have several 8.5x11 inch items to display, this is a good low cost way to do it.

Cheap Plastic
They look nice in the photos, but once arrived I noticed that they were made from cheap, warped, plastic. Neither of the frames I ordered were straight, they were all warped. I returned them.
