The smoked duck came well packaged and in due time. It was delicious and well prepared

This smoked duck is very good. It is a bit too pricey for a weeknight dinner, but not so much for a special dinner for two. The meat is pink, as it should be, but not undercooked as one reviewer stated. My only complaint is that the shipment took about five days to arrive. The duck was thawed but still cool. It is vacuum sealed, so the quality of the meat was fine.

This is the third time I have ordered this. The first time it was excellent. The second time it was extremely salty. I called the company to let them know, and I never heard back from them. The one I have received says smoked duck. Not one word about being a Peking duck. Notice on Amazon that the duck has been netted which explains the little square marks on the duck. The one I have received is completely smooth and a plain smoked duck. The ducks used to prepare Peking duck originated in Nanjing. They were large, had black feathers, and lived in the canals that linked the city to major waterways. The duck is roasted, so that all the fat is melted and the skin becomes crispy. That is not the case with the duck I received. Not the same as the first two, but I am being told otherwise from the company. Compare the picture posted to the one that is advertised as Peking duck in Amazon.

Best smoked duck I've ever tasted. Ship and packed professionally. My family loved it.
