I bought these for use in an outdoor firepit. They are lightweight and look like real pieces of burning wood giving our natural gas firepit an authentic look without the mess of real wood. When turned off after use, the blocks have a nice afterglow for several minutes giving a pleasant efffect of real wood. We have not noticed any smell connected to them but we have only used them outdoors. The number of blocks shown in my photos are only half of the set so not only was there enough to accomplish an authentic look but there are enough for future use if needed. The product arrived on time and all of the pieces were included and not broken.

I’m impressed. Big logs and look great. Can’t say about durability yet.

These really do look great. I'm using them with a portable propane firepit that we take camping. They def give a "campfire" feel to the firepit. Just so everyone is aware, there are duplicates of each log, so there are only 5 unique ones in the pack. I saw another camper using them on my last camping trip and they let us try them out for a night and had to purchase them. Not only do they look great, but they also heat up and make the fire feel warmer. Unfortunately one of the largest ones was broken, but I'm sending it in for a replacement now.

The media could not be loaded.  These fire logs work perfectly to make a gas fire pit feel more like a real campfire. They are easy to stack. They do get a little black during use, but that just adds to the campfire effect. Very pleased with my purchase

Great decorative logs, but the white logs turn black from the fire after a few uses. If you don’t use the fireplace and are just looking to add a decorative feel these logs are ideal.

They get a little char on them as well! very nice product!

This product is cheap, tacky, and worst of all... and I should have known better from the reviews... two of the ten logs arrived broken. That 1/5 of the product. That's 20% of the product. This company should first be ashamed of itself and secondly should fix its packaging.An absolute waste of time and money.DO NOT BUY THIS BURNING PILE OF GARBAGE.

Great logs

These are awesome.Used with exterior elevated gas pitfire it redirects heat sideways about 10 feet instead of throwing flames and heat upwards.Really looks like woodlogs once the fire on and when you shut it of the red of fire slowly fades on the logs.Like real.Comes 10 well packaged only needed 7.Came with no instructions but no need to be a boy scout to know how to stack wood to start a fire.Throw in a pack of Mystical Fire on the pit to create colored flames and wish you had done this before.Enjoy.

The media could not be loaded.  Arrived quickly, nothing brokenExactly as expected and fit my 46” gas fireplace perfectly. I read complaints about smells and black charring but I had none of that except for very slight charring on one log which looks perfectly natural considering it’s a fireplace. I am very pleased with this birchwood logset

We have them in our outdoor gas firepit and they work great

Lots of logs, decent selection and size. They heat up and help throw much more heat than just the lava rocks that come with the Costco firepit. The extra heat radiated off the logs helps replicate the heat a real wood fire produces. Add old Ben to your order too, as well as the NG conversion kit if you have NG available for your BBQ.
