My roommate likes to keep our igloo at a hot - 2. I personally get cold easily, kind of like my heart but in my extremities. I knew if i was going to survey this summer freeze out, Id have to get a better blanket than the sheet of paper I'd been using. I found this a couple of weeks ago and even after washing it twice (one of my cats enjoyed it so much, they tried to claim it) its still soft as baby bears bottom. This has become my favorite go to for warmth and comfort. Now chilling on the couch doesn't mean being a Snow Queen with ice cubed flanges.

First the good......This blanket is very soft on both sides and it is warm. I love the crochet look on the one side and the Sherpa side is very soft and is not clumpy like some Sherpa. I washed it on gentle cycle and dried it on low heat and it held up nicely. There was no pilling or anything. The material held up well. It is a great blanket overall and is larger than a standard throw blanket.Now for the bad.....I ordered the 60x80 and the tag on the blanket even says 60x80 but it is not. See the attached pictures. This blanket is only 50x70. I am an even 6 foot tall so this is enough to cover me when I’m sleeping or sitting on the couch but the fact that it is not the stated size is aggravating.Secondly, since this is doubled sided, it is sewn together, but only around the edges. I would’ve liked it to have some stitching down the middle to hold the two halves together better.Third, the Sherpa side is larger that the crocheted side so as you can see in the picture, it will never lay flat. There will always be some extra.Final thoughts....Despite the 3 negative things I mentioned, I still love this blanket and will keep it because the pros outweigh the cons. So if you’re looking for a nice throw blanket, you should consider this.

Perfect cozy throws for our sofas- I bought two cream and two grey- they are our favorites so far!

This is by far the best blanket on amazon for the value. It is soooo soft and comfortable my husband and I fight over it every night so we had to buy two!

I ordered 2 of these wonderful blankets. They were packaged beautifully...a ribbon around the blanket, then in a protective zip top pouch. It's a little detail, but the top of the zip top bag was folded over and taped down as well- made the packaging neat, not like someone had just thrown their product in a bag- there's some pride there. A storage bag was also included. The Sherpa side is soft and the pattern on the cable knit side looked exactly like the picture. I love it.

Our church is meeting outside because of the pandemic, and I was looking for a nice-looking, heavy, oversized throw I could wrap around myself during services, since it's cold outside in the morning during winter, even in California. This sure fits the bill. During the rest of the week, it lives on my favorite reading couch, my bed when I take a nap, or wrapped around me when I'm on the computer. My husband keeps laughing and calling me "Linus" because I'm never very far away from it. It's the warmest, softest throw I've ever owned, and I love it. I am a bit apprehensive about how well it will hold up, since I can see the possibility of the knit side snagging, and if it will continue to look nice after washing, but even if it only lasts the rest of this winter, this purchase is a win.

The comfort of this is just what you need on these cold nights. I am pleased overall with this item.

not many of my blankets achieve the warmth as this one, I usually pack on the multiple blankets when its cold, but with this one I am throwing the others off
