The Best Praise and Worship Songs Ever (Easy Piano) Paperback – January 1, 2000

This book is exactly what I have been hoping to find. I took piano lessons when I was young, but I remember very little. Now, at 41, I wanted to teach myself to play again on the piano I just bought on ebay for $100. I have tried several other books, but they have been a bit too difficult or only had a couple songs I liked. This book is very easy and manageable for someone like me who barely knows what she is doing! I am able to teach myself and create pleasing music. I just can't stop playing now, always eager to learn the next song. The praise music is just what we sing in church, it is emotional and uplifting, and it sounds more complex than it really is. I am delighted that I found this book!

I ordered this for one song, and when I got it, was thrilled to see that it had many more songs that I knew & could sing. My only complaint (not about this book only) is that they don't list all the songs in these music books so you could see all they have in them. I might have found the song I was looking for sooner & easier instead of spending almost an hour to find it. That's one of the things I don't like about online shopping. Other than that, I'm very happy with my book. Large pages & easy to see music & guitar chords. I'm considering removing all the pages & putting them in a 3-ring binder with page protectors so it can lay flat & stay neat.

For those that know the basics, or just want an easy arrangement to play around with, this is a great book to go with. It has enough of a flow for piano solos without being to complicated.

Our church is small and the only instrument we have is a piano. I bought this book because people were wanting to sing some of the more modern worship songs. I love that this book makes them easy to play, but I also add a few extra chords in to make it sound nice. The only drawback I see is that a few of the songs are high, making them difficult to sing. We have an electronic piano that has a transpose button,so I just bump them down a few notches. If you had a regular piano, this might be an issue on some of the songs. Other than that, we are really enjoying this song book and it has made our singing time more enjoyable.

Soooo glad I bought this songbook. I have 5 years piano training but have become rusty the past few years as wife & mom to 4 duties took over and no piano in our home to practice on. We just received a piano as a gift and I bought this book. It is easy but well written compliations for me to be able to sit down and play and sing together. Not so difficult that I have to really concentrate all the time. Recommend if you are looking for a relaxing piano book to play as it is not super difficult.

The music is beautiful. I bought this music book in a more advance level in the past. I lost my original music book and I ordered this one thinking it was the same intermediate/advanced so I thought and it wasn't. The music in this book is beautiful and Great for a beginner or any level.

This is a good collection of easy-to-play worship songs. Even though they are simple arrangements, most of them sound good enough to stand alone. The songs also include guitar chords, so could be used by a beginning worship team. I bought this for a beginning student who wants to be able to play for church in the future. He is not quite ready for it yet, but should be ready for some of the easier songs soon. An intermediate student would be able to sit down and sight-read through it.

I am only a beginner at the piano, but after using several beginner books (harmonica, guitar), Hal Leonard books have one problem throughout all of them, sometimes when I play a note, it just doesn't seem like it belongs there....this book was no different.
