Hardware House 10-1059 Bennington Wall Light, Antique Bronze

Normally I would have given this item 5 stars.... except that I'm kinda skunked by the return policy. I bought 2 of these for my bathroom about 3 months ago but it took until now to get them installed and unfortunately one of them is damaged. Not to a point where it can't be mounted but there's something weak/broken in the part that holds it together so it wiggles if you touch it. The second one that I put up does not have this issue.Otherwise I really like these lights. I will say that it was a LOT larger than I imagined and the globes are quite big. Thankfully I had not set the holes for mounting before they arrived and could adapt where the box went to accommodate the difference. It was a bit tricky getting the globes on as the piece that holds them in place didn't want to thread onto the screwbase very easily but we got through that after a couple curse words...LOLAll in all I got the look I wanted. I just hope the "broken" one holds up. Lesson learned - open the boxes as soon as they arrive to check for damage.

Our handyman had to redo the bathroom wall to accommodate two-3 light fixtures. Didn’t seem to be a problem for him and we love having lights over each sink instead of the outdated 6 light bar. The picture above is the guest bath with one mounted over the mirror from Mexico.

We had this installed in our renovated bathroom by the contractor. We originally wanted a light with 2 bulbs but very hard to find/get one anytime soon. I'm not a good numbers person and it was so much bigger then I envisioned. It worked out & we took out the middle bulb.

Just like fixture turned out to really be the Thing too spruce up our bathroom. While I'm not going to say it was super easy to install if you have some home repair skills it's not terribly hard. If you have never installed lights or ceiling fans then get a person with some experience to do it. It can be a little tricky adjusting the length of the set screws to keep the tension correctly once you mount it and if that makes no sense to you right now you will when you get the unit. Like I said some install is experience is required in this. We really do like it. Recommended.

I was pleasantly surprised with the esthetic beauty of this fixture and the price exceeded my expectations for the item. The only issue we had with it was that one of the shades didn't go on correctly without a little "fine tuning" and the entire fixture is installed with only one bolt into the wall, making it very susceptible to tilting. You get what you pay for. It's beautiful and should serve us well for many years. It simply is not a great installation procedure. Would have been better if it had 2 or 3 places to attach it to the wall, making it more stable. However, the shades were all hanging straight and level, and I was pleasantly surprised with that, as I've seen other fixtures similar to this, and one or more shades would tilt or be uneven, totally ruining the beauty of this fixture. Overall, I love it!

It looks nice and works well. It does shift when cleaning but I thought for the money it was well worth it. I’d buy it again

This light fixture is very nice and simple to install. I have gotten many compliments on it. It was a nice upgrade from what was in our 30 year old home. I think you'd like it too.

I didn't install it but my husband didn't have trouble . I love it ; great looking !

The vanity light is very nice looking and goes great with my bronze fixtures. It is a little larger than I expected. It was difficult to screw the cheap rings onto the fixture which holds the bell-shaped glass in place. If these rings were made of a better quality material, I would have given this light fixture a 5 star rating.
