Love this bible!! The type is a great size and there is so much extra meat to help me understand the word. As far as the quality? I wouldn’t have given this as a gift. The binding was separated already when I opened it.

John MacArthur has been called the John Calvin of the modern era and I have long desired to get this Bible. It is packed with comments on the majority of the text and will help any Bible student or new reader to better understand and appreciate God's Word.Do beware that the commentary text is small and may be harder to read than the Scripture. I have had to let my eyes adjust to it and alternate nightly study with this and another study Bible.
