Very sturdy. Paint does smell.
Putting this together is no joke because there are so many redundant safety measures to ensure nothing will flex. I don't think a half dozen gorillas could break this thing if it's properly put together. (Maybe if they all jumped on the slide... but I digress.) It took me about 4 hours with my 7 and 2 year old helping. So I think it might only take 2 hrs if you had someone to help you get the overall frame up (1st step) and then the rest you could do alone. Instructions are 100% visual with some measurements, no words, but they're clear. Everything is included, except you'll need a drill with phillips bit for a few parts.Design is just ideal for kids--mine absolutely love it. I love how it creates 2 special spaces, one above and one below. They are going to get a ton of joy out of both over the years, and I imagine we'll end up with 2 eventually. The "low VOC" claim is meaningless I realized while unpacking and smelling the very noticeable smell. Literally, it's a relative term, anybody can claim that I guess. We use zero VOC paint, so we're not used to those smells and my 7 year old commented on it. For the price (with tax about 350), it's so very well worth it. The quality is absolutely unbeatable for the price. I've seen it elsewhere for 5-600, and I still don't think that's overpriced. The only part not made of pine are the slats to support the mattress, and I genuinely believe they made the choice to use plywood for strength/load bearing reasons. We'll just keep a window open in that bedroom whenever possible until the smell is gone.

Great bed for a smaller room
We couldn’t be happier with this bed. We purchased this for our 4yr old who transitioned from a toddler bed. His bedroom isn’t the biggest so a loft was a great way to maximize space. I was nervous about some of the reviews that mentioned quality/sturdiness and assembly… but usually take those with a grain of salt anyway. The instructions were pretty straightforward and it took my husband and It took just about 2 hours to assemble. The quality is very comparable to the price. While the wood isn’t top quality, It is durable and sturdy and we have no hesitation at all for our little dudes safety. The lower loft feel like an appropriate height for his age. Not too high but still super cool for him. The space underneath is the perfect size for a book nook, fort or play area. So many possibilities! Would definitely recommend.

Great product for price
Overall it was a great purchase for the price. The biggest challenge is definitely taking the time to build it. This is one of the most challenging build it yourself items I have had to work with. You will def need two people to piece together the left and right sides of the bed together, and if you get the stairs (like I did) be prepared to spend another 1-2 hours at least putting those together. The instructions were good enough, better than I was anticipating per some of the reviews. The challenges I had are the following:- screws are not labeled outside of cartoon drawing describing each screw so for the most part you can figure it out, but it just takes a lot of unnecessary hassle for something that could be fixed by just marking the bags of screws the same way the bed parts are labeled- there were some minor mistakes, item 13 was labeled 14 (and 14 was 13), instructions were conflicted on some early steps by identifying one screw in the summary but a different screw in the actual step- some of my parts had minor cracks, nothing concerning but still shouldn’t be that way when brand new- the plugs used to plug the unused staircase screw holes did not fit properly, so doesn’t look as good as it could- one of the step connections was angled too much to where the fastener could not screw in properly, in the end I couldn’t screw in that step properly, but luckily there are enough fasteners everywhere else so it doesn’t seem to be a problemAlso my completed bed seems very sturdy which contradicts some of the other reviews that the bed is wobbly, so it may be hit or miss in quality (I happen to just get a good one) or perhaps minormistakes in building it could cause the bed to become wobbly which reconfirms the challenge of building this thing right.Despite the challenge in putting it together, I still recommend it for the price. It seems pretty sturdy, even I jumped into the bed with my son and feltsecure. And the best part is he absolutely loves it (he turns 3 years old next month)

Surprisingly Sturdy
Full disclosure, we got this for our dogs, so I doubt it's getting the wear and tear one would expect from human offspring. However, I'm a hefty individual (200+ lbs) and this thing holds me up there with my pup no problem. It was easy to put together (plan first! lay everything out and check that you have what you need) and has lasted about 5 months now. Our dogs absolutely love it and their crates fit underneath - so it's really cute!

The cutest kids bed
The media could not be loaded. Purchased this bed to transition my son from his crib at age 2. It’s nice and sturdy and I love the loft style because it’s a space saver. The railing is perfect so I don’t have to worry about him falling out of the bed. He slept through the entire night his first night in the bed. He was so excited about the ladder. He climbs in and out with no assistance. We installed lights underneath to serve as his nightlight. It’s a fun bed for a kid and I like that it’s not as high as other loft beds. He’ll definitely keep this bed for years.

Super beau, super facile à monter. Branle un peu mais vraiment rien de dérangeant. Nous sommes très heureux de notre achat.

A Bunk Bed that children will love.
It is easy to assemble, perfect Color white, size and height. I wish it will have a wood quality of bed plate or the surface where the child is lying down, because the wooden grid plates are poor quality, easily breaks. I needed to place a flat wooden light board plate on it, and I’m glad my child is light weight. The rest of the wood are sturgy and quality. The design is perfect for my children. They like it.
