It's hard to beat Orient for value!
I own 4 other dive watches, but somehow never bought a black dial, black bezel dive watch before. The Ray II fits that traditional role superbly. Where else can you buy a 200m diver with an in-house automatic movement for less than $200.The watch is a great size that wears comfortably on my wrist and keeps reasonable time at +8 sec. per day. I like the polished accents on the bracelet and the clasic "dot" hour markers. The watch is easy to read and the lume is fantastic. My only complaint is the crown, which is too small and somewhat difficult to screw / unscrew.Still, I am very happy with my purchase. At this price, it is a perfect daily knock around watch.

Nice watch
This is my first automatic watch and it is a really nice watch. I swapped out the stock glass for a double domed sapphire crystal which makes this watch seem double the price. The bracelet is fine for the price point, looks good but it does have the sound of a cheaper watch when placed on the bathroom sink or wherever. No big deal cause I plan on replacing it with an oyster bracelet anyways. After a week of wear it has actually kept almost perfect time. Really nice watch for the money, even a nice watch for double the money. The lume is nice and bright. I included a picture of the watch with the double domed sapphire I installed the other day.

Well made, accurate, obviously durable, comfortable. I like it!
I won’t try to tout my watch expertise or knowledge. I’ve been searching for a long time to find a well made black on black every day watch that I could depend on for years to come. It needs to have a mechanical/automatic movement. After a few days getting acquainted with this modest piece of high quality workmanship, I know that this is it, including mech/auto movement. Orient products have a flawless reputation for high quality time pieces at affordable prices. If you like it, you can’t go wrong, I like it

Great watch, but you can’t remove the bezel.
Very nice watch. A bit boring in design, but very very accurate, loosing less than 2 seconds a day! That is better than my Eternamatic! One star short because for some unknown reasaon the bezel cannot be snapped off. This shouldn’t matter to many, but I, and a LOT of others, like to modify my watch to optimize the design. I have not been able to remove the bezel from TWO of these watches, and neither has the service center, or two other watch repair people. A Pro Miodifier said that they changed something lately and the bezel can’t be removed. I DID change the crystal, strap and added an exhibition back, but the coin-edge bezel and lume-ceramic 12-hour index ring I bought from Long Island Watches can’t be installed. VERY disappointing!!!If you mod watches, avoid this one.

Regular precision
Un reloj muy bonito pero con una precisión muy regular, se adelanta 25 segundos diariamente lo que me parece exagerado.

A reliable everyday watch!
I've had this watch a few months niw and have really enjoyed it. Great look, great power reserve, and very accurate. I have no worries about getting it wet, as it has a threaded crown! My only two complaints are with the crown though. First, the crown is a little tough to thread/unthread. Second, It is a little tricky to get two distinct clicks when setting the time and date. If i pull on the crown to set the date, i have to do it veeery carefully as i can easily skip to time. No big deal though, this is still one of my everyday watches, and I love it!
