I have used this for about a month. Overall, I really like it. Great bang for the buck. I now have a sense of security with anything I throw in the back. I now have the freedom to setup the bed and not worry about water damage (for the most part). I’m also hoping it helps with MPG. Don’t have any stats on that yet.***Pros***The fit:My main concern when buying this was my bed bars (see in pictures). I really didn’t want to remove them for the sake of a bed cover. But it fits just fine. One side the rubber flap over laps it a bit, but I think that is just because I have the cover installed at a slight angle. But no big deal. It’s not really affecting anything.The Price:There are lots of cover options on the market. For anything that is a hard shell (not just a vinyl cover), they are all expensive. I was expecting to have to spend $1000 at least to cover it. For this price, this cover is awesome.Installation:The installation process was really not that bad. I used what they had in the box, but I mostly used the installation video that is on Amazon. Took me about an hour or so to do. But I was taking my time trying to align it and what not.***Cons***Water proofing:As far as direct water contact from above, obviously this takes care of that. I have let it get rained on, and taken it to the car wash, there is always some amount of water in the bed. It is small don’t get me wrong, but it is there none the less. I might have the cover installed slightly cockeyed, so that might not be helping. It looks like most of the water came in at the tail gate. It also looks like some came in through the rail/drain pipe. There is another reviewer here that used hot glue to seal that up. I’ll have to look at doing that.Full removal:Obviously the main drawback to this cover, unlike most of the expensive ones, is that the first panel does not flip up. The do have hand nuts you can use to take off the cover entirely if you need to. So it is possible, and not that much to make it happen. It is just a bit inconvenient.

It was easy to install. I used to install truck accessories at a shop and found this one to be sturdier than the ones like truxedo. I like the pull lanyard release vs the handles on either side. The rails aren’t 100% water tight and could be sealed better, like most other reviews mention. But for the money you can’t beat it. Looks great and is very sturdy. My only (minor) complaint is that I wish the latching mechanisms were height adjustable to make it a more of a tight seal when closed. I have not tested the ability to stand on it. Really not worth the risk of damaging it. But it seams solid enough to handle it.UPDATE: after a year this thing holds up like new. Found that with some adjustments the latch was just fine. It does seal up like it’s supposed to. I still get some water through one corner towards the front of the bed but I’m guessing it’s an adjustment thing. It doesn’t bother me, I bought it to keep the snow out and secure my stuff. I did let my 60 lb. son climb on it and it handled that without damage. I’ve gotten on it when it was folded up and it held up fine as well. At the time I weighed around 250 lbs. my only regret is that it doesn’t fold all the way up. Makes it difficult to get to the front of the bed.

I highly recommend this trifold cover.I bought it for my 2017 ram 1500 and it looks great. True hard cover.Installation is easy, i recommend to watch the video 2-3 times, it took me about 30min to installed.

Pretty simple Install, I had it done in about 45 minutes from start to finish. Only thing I had help with was lifting it in my truck. Been on for a couple weeks and so far so good

The directions are a bit eh... but it's pretty simple once you realize what you need to do. Overall its pretty sturdy, the foam that you need to install to make it waterproof is kinda a pain so I just avoided doing it, still keeps most water out unless theres a heavy rain/storm even then it's not alot of water coming through. It's quick and easy still and overall a great product.

Tired of the water from car wash / rain getting items wet the clamps are not secure enough needs more at the bottom where it close. I’ve been tightening every since I got it it looks nice but hasn’t been 100%

Came on time and well packaged. Was easy to install by myself for the most part only needing one assist lifting the main part in place. It was fully installed in less than 30 minutes and I’m not that mechanically inclined.Since installation, we can’t be happier. It keeps the bed dry and whatever we put back there secure.
