I was searching for a cheesecloth bag I could use to create spice infused water for my family's red pasta sauce recipe. I wanted to spare myself the tedious straining process, and having worry about whether all the little itty-bitty spices might not get stopped by a normal sieve or strainer. These have fit the bill perfectly. I can load everything into the bag, tie it shut, and drop it into the boiling water. Once done, I use a pair of tongs to remove the bag, and presto! No messy or tedious straining. If I wanted to, I could wash them and reuse them, but since they are made of cotton, they are compostable, and can be disposed of that way. Great value for the quantity of bags you get for the price!

I originally bought these to split my potpourri into smaller bags to place in drawers, closets and bathrooms. Then I realized they are also great as tea bags! Win win! Great product, highly recommend.

It does the job perfectly, maybe I expected a different kind of branded bag. But otherwise they are perfect for the job.

Perfect size for infusing herbs into sauces and making tea.

This may sound childish, but I purchased this primarily for making soups and sauces with onions. I love the flavor of onions, but despite my *many* attempts over the 31 years I’ve been alive, I just cannot chew and swallow them, I gag every time(you wouldn’t even know I grew up with an onion loving mother lol). These have been such a life saver for me this winter as I’m all about winter soups and they just aren’t the same without that onion flavor in there! I’m excited to make curries and other items that have whole spices as well! OH and I can use them to make foraged Mullein tea, so that is a big plus! They are a little bit hard to clean depending on what type of soup I’m making, but otherwise I highly recommend!

This size is great for seasoning large pot of food. Sturdy and reusable!

I love these for packing bouquet garni for soups. I just packed a bunch at once and put them in a freezer bag in the freezer to pull one out whenever I want to make a soup. So easy!

I think they are fine and will get the job done but the measurements come up short. I bought the 4x6 and no way are the bags that size. A little more than 1/2 inch smaller on length and width. Its always disappointing to receive an item that doesn't match the description.
