Super crunchy and satisfying
I’ve been getting the Cinnamon Toast version of this cereal for several months from a local warehouse store, but they seem to have quit carrying it, so I’m devastated. It was a lot cheaper buying it that way, but at least it’s available here for me to get my fix. I’ll eat a lot less of it at this price, but I’ll definitely continue getting it.I’ve been low-carbing for years, and I haven’t had real sugar during all this time. So that might affect my experience. My first perception of this was, hmm, lightly cinnamony. A little sweet. Not a lot of flavor. But super crunchy. Hard, really. Yet somehow, after several bites, I was hooked.I’ve never actually eaten it like cereal in any kind of liquid. I eat it as a snack. I have a little snack cup (about a quarter cup) while I’m watching TV each night. Soooo satisfying. I also occasionally stuff a handful in my mouth as I’m going out the door. It’ll take me several minutes to (carefully...pointy edges!) crunch my way through it, and it has so much protein and fiber, it’s actually a *meaningful* mouthful. This really does a great job of tiding you over. It doesn’t leave you feeling *more* hungry, as regular, high-carb cereal would do.The Cinnamon Toast is the only version I’ve tried, but I’m very, very happy with it. Highly recommended.

If you're on a low-carb diet this is the ticket
I've been on a low-carb diet for years and I've tried every so-called low-carb cereal that's out there. They either taste like shredded cardboard or they're loaded with chemicals you can't pronounce or they're super expensive.I saw this product on the shelf at my local Whole Foods (read Whole Paycheck) and I gave it a try. I might be biased here because I haven't been able to eat cold breakfast cereal in years but with this product I've finally found an answer. The pros:1) Tastes very good, some flavors are better than others. Hint- if you liked Fruit Loops as a kid BUY THE FRUITY VERSION OF Catalina Crunchyou won't be disappointed.2) Crunchy ( if you don't like crunchy, just let the cereal sit for a few minutes in milk or whatever you take cereal with)3) Different flavors to choose fromThe cons:1) Expensive - the bag is small and costs nearly $9.00! For me I get about 2.5 bowls of cereal per bag. I use it as a meal substitution, especially at night when I don't feel like cooking.2) Not available everywhere. I suppose it's bit nichy3) It can upset your stomach if you eat a huge bowl of it which I want to do. I suspect it's the fiber in the cerealIn spite of the cons, I'm still a big fan of this cereal and will continue to buy it. Highly recommended_______________________________________________________________________________________________I rely heavily on reviews when I make purchases so I put some time into reviewing everything I buy on Amazon for personal or business use so I can help other people considering that item. Good
It’s a good product. Like any food that has a “healthy” label, it has a different taste to the real deal. It, however, does taste good and is worth the purchase if your a cereal fan.

Don't Compare this to your Regular Cereal! High Protein /low carb/special diet
If you are looking to down a huge bowl of cheap Cap'n Crunch go for it and keep your one star reviews to yourself. That is not what this product is about. If you are on a low carb , high protein diet and cereal is something you are missing, you will love Catalina Crunch. I've bought the cinnamon and graham flavors and they taste great to me but i am not comparing to my old childhood faves. The texture is very crunchy and satisfying and you get to enjoy cereal. Yes the suggested portion is very small but for people on tight calorie diets that is to be expected. I've been doing Optavia and tried this to supplement my fuelings with something different. I love this cereal and think it should be judged in the context of what it is designed for. If you aren't sure, look for a single bag and don't buy the three pack or whole case.

Idk bout this....
Alright, I have been Keto for over a year so my tastebuds are well adapted to Keto Sugars and Keto flavors.I opened the box, took a piece and ate it. Dry, it really does remind me of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, it was delish and I was excited to eat a bowl! Finally something crunchy! I LOVE the crunch! Being Keto, you know there isn't much crunchy things you can eat so this was a plus.I made 1/2 a cup and poured milk on it. First bite or two was good, the crunch lasted to the last spoonful but the flavor... the nice cinnamon toast crunch flavor slowly vanished and I was left with a very bland dull cinnamon flavor. It wasn't horrible. If you are legit looking for CRUNCH, this is it... I might try to add something else to it like berries or something next time to help improve the taste. Definitely not an overly sweet cereal. I will most likely purchase this again, maybe try another flavor.

Anything Keto is expensive
I first purchased this at Costco. You got a bag twice the size as the ones sold on both Amazon and the Catalina Crunch website for a much more reasonable price. However, like everything at Costco, it was available one day and gone the next. I get the cinnamon toast cereal. I like it. I like the taste and that it is really crunchy and stays that way with milk. It is expensive. But it seems everything low carb is expensive. The trick is finding something you really like. All I can say is that I like it and am willing to pay for something I like. The good part is that it is not daily staple and I can usually last 2 months on a 4 pack order.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch is my favorite cereal.
Unless Catalina recently updated their recipe, some of these bad ratings don't add up. They are crunchy, not hard. Didnt experience a slimy feeling. There is a distinct cinnamon flavor. There is an after taste. I've experienced that with all "keto" friendly sweets. Great replacement for cinnamon toast crunch! Definitely a little pricey but a nice way to satisfy my cereal craving without the bad.
