These taste really good very thick smooth texture I feel like the amount it brings it’s worth the money.

Best frosting ever, especially in combination with the rainbow chip cake.

I don't think I need to say anything else. This frosting is really good. The only thing I'd change is the candies. I thought they'd be sprinkles, but they're soft and waxy as other reviewers said. I don't think they really have a flavor, just a texture and color. I'll still enjoy all of the frosting. Mine has an expiration date of Jan 2019 (ordered June 2018) so they should last just fine. No chemical taste detected either.

The chips being right in the frosting is a big mistake. They end up chewy and no vibrant colors show because they are covered with the frosting. I will never buy this kind again. It got 4 stars because it is what it says it is. However for taste and looks I would give it 1 star...

It has returned!!! I missed this stuff so much when Betty Crocker foolishly decided to discontinue it. I have since bought this twice. Call me gross, but I just eat this stuff out of a spoon...No Shame! It's just as delicious as I remember it. Everything is right with the world again. Birthdays can be happy once more. My nephew will also know the joy and happiness that comes through rainbow chip frosting. I feared that he would never experience the tasty delicacy this is, due to the shameful discontinuation. But it's okay! It is BACK!! REJOICE!

I hardly ever write reviews on the things I purchase, but I had to say this frosting tastes exactly like it did when Betty Crocker made the mistake of exchanging it for the sprinkles on top. My local grocery store has been stocking the rainbow chip frosting for several weeks now. Every time I go in they are either out of stock or have just one can left. They also have had the same lone can of sprinkles on top frosting that NO ONE wants to buy. So five stars for the frosting and five stars for Betty Crocker making the best choice in the world to bring this frosting back.
