Perspective from a Radical Remission Survivor
I was asked my Dr Turner and Tracy if they could convey my story and responded with a definite yes. I have learned so much from people during my 10 year journey. Radical Hope also provided me the inspiration i often needed from my fellow survivors. As a patient advocate, I suggest that everyone read Radical Hope. Thank you Dr Tuner and Tracy!

A True Beacon of Hope!
I am an integrative physician, and one of my dear patients is featured in Dr. Kelly Turner's book, Radical Hope. I have the honor and pleasure of knowing Dr. Turner, and I know her to be absolutely dedicated to uncovering the factors that make healing "against the odds" possible, if not probable, and to leaving us all a map so that we may follow and implement her landmark discoveries. Radical Hope is such a lighthouse, a beacon of light and hope--for anyone facing severe, chronic, and/or life-threatening illness, and for practitioners who work with them. While there is always an element of Mystery in any Healing, which involves so much more than "getting everything right" (because I believe there is also a Divine element at play), experience has shown me time and time again that certain inner traits and lifestyle practices, which can absolutely be learned, cultivated, and honed, can "stack the odds" dramatically in favor of radical healing. Dr. Turner's new book shows the way, and the included patient stories are like precious jewels--"miracles" that, even as each is in its own way extraordinary, can also teach us much about how we can each create our own miracles. If you have cancer, or if you are struggling with serious chronic illness, I encourage and urge you to read Dr. Turner's new book. Allow it to inspire you, and fill you with Radical Hope. Allow it to birth possibilities for new beginnings and healing within you!

Not for Everyone
I thought this book would be very helpful in my own cancer experience.Yes, there is hope. However each chapter I read was about a woman who had cancer and her husband took car eo fher; her job allowed her to take tiem off when needed, to come back to work when not productive from chemo etc but to keep her job and she had family take her to appointments. Over and over. For single people- there is no husband. For people who work many place son-call so have no big net where soem one else picks up the slack- we do not have this. There should have been other more realistic stories.I wish I had returned it because rather than give me hope it made me feel sad fo myself. Which made me dig deep to create my internal helper.

Excellent information very well written
As a stage IV prostate cancer survivor, I've read MANY books about cancer and cancer treatments. This might be the first one out of a half dozen or so that I'd recommend to cancer patients, their families, friends, and caregivers. It offers case studies with quotes from survivors and comments and relevant factual background. The stories are vivid and the action steps at the end of each chapter are feasible for most of us to try. The book offers realistic hope by showing 10 different health producing areas of life that the hundreds people Turner interviewed attended to in crafting their own approaches to recovery. I hope this book inspires patients, treatment professionals, and researchers to learn more about what actually works.

Wonderful
I read radical remission. Radical hope is every bit as good but takes the whole process up several notches. A must for any cancer warriors.

We Need More Doctors Like Kelly Turner
Dr Kelly Turner has done something very rare. She has investigated so called spontaneous remissions ( which turn out to be not so spontaneous after all ), the people who survive and thrive in the face of recieving a death sentence from their medical doctor. She has identified the patterns that these folks have in common and offers and excellent book with real case stories and action steps to take. I loved this book, highly recommended. A perfect anti dote to the medical orthodoxy of our times.

inspiring and empowering
Overall, well written. I appreciate that non cancer diseases were covered, as well as a variety of types of cancer. I find some of the cited studies questionable but nonetheless feel there is enough evidence to support the need for all 10 factors.

Essential Reading
This book and "Radical Remission", by the same author, are essential reading for anyone with cancer, along with the China Study by Campbell. My only criticism is that she didn't cover herbal rememdies, such as Hoxsey and Essiac herbal combinations and that she wasn't clear enough about the potential long-term damage done by chemo and radiotherapy. Otherwise she was excellent at providing options and not assuming that everyone will simply meakly follow Oncology pathways.

Amazing book, it gave me great hope.
This book is amazing, it gave me great hope& belief when I had cancer. As did her first book I read it every day and it helped me so much. I still read it when I’m in need of some inspiration or going through a rough time. I would highly recommend it.

Practical, inspiring and so much hope
As a cancer survivor, I am always careful what I read or recommend to others. But when a dear friend was diagnosed with Stage Four lung cancer, I immediately steered her towards the writings of Dr Kelly Turner. And hand on heart, my friend having followed her course of treatment plus changing some personal habits, is now in remission. I salute the tireless work Kelly has done to uncover real life stories of radical remission that have been occurring for years without this life saving knowledge being collected and shared. This is a must read, just like 'Radical Remission', Kelly's previous book.,
