Great looks with all day comfort!
This is my third orthofeet purchase. I keep going back to them for quality and comfort I’ve come to expect. My 17 year old daughter picked these out of the ones I showed her as most stylish so I’m not just an old lady saying they’re nice lol! I am on my feet on cement all day at a dealership, in and out of lifted trucks, thru the slippery oil change area and such. From injury, I am bone on bone ankle and these provide support. I also have arthritis in my feet and am able to walk al day in these.

Tired Teacher Searching For Comfy Shoes
What buyers need to know:Runs a bit narrow. 7 W fits more like a 7 m.Layers are removable. The arch support is good. The spacers are hard and the removable sole is about a 3 on the cushion scale. (Not quite enough for my foot issues.)**Deep enough to accommodate your own orthodic/choice of insole!!!**Looks nice. Cuter than other orthodic shoes I've looked at. Seems to be authentic leather. If you don't mind the seams across the toe it's a cute boot.Leaves black streaks on school tile floors, but not on my ceramic tile floors and home.More details/ my story:In my early 30s I had a surgery to put a screw in my upper right foot. Due to swelling of the scar tissue and painful tenderness near the screw, I need an orthopedic footbed with LOTS of cushion. The included inserts were not enough to prevent foot pain. Very hard.I am a true 7, rarely need wide, BUT all boots this season I've tried (in just about every comfort brand out there) have run very narrow. I ordered a 7 W in these Ortho Feet boots as I have sent back about eight pairs of boots from other comfort brands. The 7 W finally was the right fit.I chose Ortho feet as they advertised layers which can be removed. I thought would help with warm winter socks. This also allowed me to remove the spacers and put in a Dr. schools ultra cushy insole.I hope later to have an orthodic insert made. This shoe is deep enough to accommodate one if you need it.

Width
I purchased tennis shoes the same size (8.5 Wide width-perfect fit) but this shoe seems more narrow. I am still experimenting with the inserts to get the proper fit. I love the look of the shoe and the heel height, but I really need to find a way to make them comfortable to wear for a full day. As it is now, there is too much pain on each big toe to wear all day.

No more heal pain!
This summer I developed very painful heal discomfort to the point I couldn’t put any pressure on my foot if I had been on my feet for any length of time. My podiatrist diagnosed arthritis and bone spurs as the problem and recommended Dr Scholls full shoe inserts. Also, to wear my walking sneakers all the time. I tried the inserts and the problem got worse so, I went back & purchased the inserts specifically for heal pain. They helped to a degree but wearing sneakers all day tired out my feet & only eased the pain but didn’t stop it. So, I decided to check out Amazon to see if they carried shoes for this type of problem, which they did! And, after reading the reviews on the several brands decided to try the Ortho brand sneakers. Well, they were well worth the cost & relief from heal pain was almost immediate. So, since I live in a winter snow region I knew I would need boots and went right back to the Ortho brand and was not disappointed. The boots fit a bit loose in the box of the shoe but Ortho includes the extra inserts and a special heal insert for added comfort if needed. Since I’ll be wearing socks in the boot I was able to remove the full pad insert and leave the heal one in place without causing the pain to return. In the future I will go back to purchase Ortho if a different style is needed. My feet have been very happy, comfortable, do not have the pain even after walking a long length of time.

Very Comfortable
These shoes have been very comfortable for me. I had been having problems with heel spurs for over a year.I have absolutely no pain when I wear these. Within a week I ordered another pair in a different style. I have widefeet, so I ordered them in wide and it was a perfect fit for me.

Love Them!
I live in NYC, where we walk everywher, a mile a day or more, up and down stairs - we spend a lot of time thinking about our feet and talking shoes, like people in the suburbs talk cars. These boots fit right out of the box, no breaking-in needed, I wore them out on the street the first day. The heel is just right height to be stylish but comfortable. The first day I wore them, I had a doctor's appointment and when I was sitting in the waiting room, a woman sitting across from me leaned over and said "I love your boots!" :-)I normally wear a 6.5 but I bought a 7W, so I could add my own orthodics on top of the insoles that came with the boot and I can wear socks.I love them so much, I might buy another pair, everyone knows that anything you like will never be sold again!

Great Boot!
I have bunions and Plantar Fasciitis, so good shoes are very important to me. These shoes fit good and did not hurt my arch or my bunions. They came with inserts so you can build them up or down in the arch. I have orthofeet slippers and I could not live without them. These are stylish and feel great!

Great boots!
So happy to have found Orthofeet! Plus they offer a 10.5 wide in womens, which is a really hard size to find. I found the wide size offers plenty of room for my orthotic inserts. I opted to use the two "riser" inserts that came with the boots and they worked well. Otherwise I had a tad too much wiggle room across the top of my instep. These look really good with dress pants, not clunky or old lady like. Very comfortable.
