The ETF Handbook: How to Value and Trade Exchange Traded Funds (Wiley Finance)

Excellent reference guide for ETFs
This is a great book that goes into all aspects of ETFs: creation, trading, structure, taxes, etc. The author updated the version initially published in 2010, and this second edition is much better than the first one (there are significant differences and I would encourage anyone who has the first edition to upgrade to this one). While there is content here for both beginners and more advanced people (i.e., market participants and active traders), the content leans more for the latter. That said, all readers who are interested in ETFs would enjoy this book. Note: This is not an "investment advice" book; the author (wisely) chooses not to go into why you want to own SPY vs. EEM or some toher ETF. That is left up to you!

Extremely confusing, good for academics, bad for individual investors
This book has very little useful information for individual investors. It is way to complicated and hard to understand. I have tried several books on ETF's and found that there are much better books. This book might be good for experts, but it has very little value for the average investor.

Great book in understanding ETF
Great book in understanding ETF. The explanation of ETF liquidity is extremely valuable especially considering author's background in both LP and ETF provider.

What's new? And is it worth it?
The first edition was excellent. Is there sufficient new information in this edition to justify its expense?
