Good product
My family uses these all the time for camping and backpacking trips. Taste good and easy to fix. Cost is a little high but quality.

It's not waffle house, but it pretty good for coming out of a bag.
This is one I would purchase again. It wasn't a bad meal. I would pick this hands down over the Biscuits and Gravy for a breakfast meal. I don't recall anything that really stood out as good, but I can say the same that nothing stood out as bad. The food rehydrated well and was filling. I would say this is above average for a freeze dried meal.

We really enjoy MH food.
Love mountain house freeze dried food. Always top quality and great for camping or prepping! Highly recommend this product. We have all of their different choices of meals.

Tasty and filling
Easy and fast to prepare, makes enough food for two people, and is fairly good tasting. My one gripe is that while all of the other components got rehydrated properly, the pork bits were a bit tough and chewy.

Surprisingly good
After the "2weeks to stop the spread" became full covid lockdown, I started trying to keep a better supply of shelf stable food on hand. Bought a couple of these and tried one at work. Taste and texture isn't bad. Good to keep on hand, especially of you catch on sale

It's okay
The meal consisted of a good amount of eggs, with some peppers, sausage bits, and shreds of potato. Since it is a freeze-dried meal once everything reconstituted it became kind of mushy. It did not affect taste but people who are sensitive to texture should keep that in mind.Aside from that the meal reconstituted fine and I did not have any crunchy bits in my meal. However, the taste of the meal itself was lackluster. It was not bad, but was not good either. It tasted quite flat and plain. It would probably be much better with some black pepper, salt and hot sauce. I would suggest adding some sort of bread to eat with this meal (tortillas, toast, etc.). Overall it wasn't spectacular but it was edible. Would highly recommend the before mentioned modifications I listed if you decide to purchase this meal. One last thing, as with most Mountain House meals add slightly less water than it calls for and let it sit for 5ish extra minutes as well for better taste.

A Warm Meal Adds to both Physical and Emotional Well-Being
Breakfast Skillet is my favorite Mountain House meal, just beating out Chicken Breast and Mashed Potatoes. I have taken this on many a backpacking trip and never been sorry I had it on hand. While backpacking, I find that the two serving size pouches is really a one serving pouch for me. If this is your first time with dehydrated meals, order one or two and try them at home before over committing the food budget. Mountain House has great variety, consistency, and for the weight savings, a great value for the money.
