We are an elderly couple - in our early 70's. It was getting quite difficult to step up over the 6" threshholds on all our exterior doors. These steps cut the depth in half and we can now get in and out easily. The steps are very sturdily built, and are very wide. They also are very attractive - the photo is an accurate representation.

My mom ordered this because I am disabled and needed a new step since the sidewalk to the porch is a bit high for me. It is perfect. It is wide and came with the antislip tape to add to it. I don't feel like I'm going to fall through or anything else. It is solid and a little heavy.

Attractive, sturdy and a very nice size. I didn’t put the tread strips on it at first and the first time it rained hard enough to blow onto my porch, I found out how important those were. Strips are now in place and it has been a nice safe half step after that.

I seldom write reviews. If you are looking for a step up solution, just look no further. This product is everything you want. Here is why:1. It is beautiful and beyond expectations for craftsmanship2. It is wider than the cheaper plastic models so as not to fall or trip3. I read about it potentially being slick due to wood, but it came with a roll of non-slip product. I went to unroll it, and WOW! Every strip PRE-CUT to fit exactly.4. The non-slip strips were clear so the beauty of the woods shows through.5. Don't settle for a model 30 bucks cheaper. You will be happy with this.

The picture is a little deciving as it looks bigger than it actually is, but it works great for what we need it for. It is also very light, but sturdy. It comes with pre cut weather stripping that is easy to put on.

Why I didn't think of purchasing this sooner. It's been a game changer. Step into garage has become a breeze. Carrying groceries inside has become so much easier not taking that giant step that most garage doors have. Short or tall, it's easy on the joints, with no effort. It's made solid, and I feel very safe stepping on it. I do have mine sitting on an area rug, so no slide is expected. Definitely recommend. Downside is the price. I thought it was a bit costly.

Love the fact it's just the right height. The first step out of our house was awkward. It makes it so much easier for my grandkids to step in and my sister who has bad knees.

The step is sturdy and the perfect length and width, so you feel secure stepping up on it.
