A great little reel mower!
I'm very pleased with this mower, and feel like I got really good value on this purchase. Assembled by myself in about 10 minutes. And it's very sharp right out of the box, and easy to clean, so it should stay sharp for a good long while. Cuts grass that's too tall for a motorized mower to get through, and a second pass mulched it well enough that there was no dead dried-out grass lying around the next day. When we keep up with mowing, our (admittedly quite small) yards only take ~20 minutes each, and because there's no motor I can easily listen to podcasts/audiobooks/music while mowing. It's quite lightweight and easy to maneuver, too, so it honestly barely feels like work to do the lawn. Which is good, because we are NOT lawn people. But this little mower makes our lawn look nice enough to fit into our neighborhood of people who are lawn people with minimal effort - what more can you ask for?P.S. I've had 2 people comment on how well this mower works in the couple months we've been using it. On two separate occasions, a dog walker and a UPS delivery person stopped to tell me how surprising it was to see someone using a reel mower with grass clippings flying up around them as they mowed, and how much better it seems to work than any other reel mower they've seen. I agree, it does work very well, and it's very satisfying to use.

Smooth, Quiet, and Effective
This mower works great on my small lawn! The blades are sharp, and it cuts evenly without tearing the grass. Assembly was simple, and it's easy to push. No need for gas or oil—just a good workout and a beautifully cut lawn. Highly recommended!

Let's get rollin'
Quality, low-cost push mower. It's not overly heavy.Fairly easy to assemble, but can be a little tricky to adjust the height of the cut.Cuts fairly well and spins pretty freely, but will require some maintenance, as is typical for this type of mower. It does require some extra muscle to push, but again that is pretty typical for this type of mower.Overall, pleased with this purchase.

No noise, less pollution—still effective !
Really pleased with the initial cut from this mower—I’m the kind of person who, if I wasn’t renting, wouldn’t even keep a lawn. This mower at least helps me avoid the fuel needs + noise of a powered mower. Also easy to put together despite the fact that I am not a handy gal. It’s honestly kind of fun to run it back and forth —did much better with taller grass and weeds than I anticipated. Will see how tricky it is to sharpen, but so far, it’s great.

Highly reccomend!
Okay first of all, I'd just like to say that I am autistic, and I absolutely LOATHE mowing the lawn. The mower is too loud, the vibrating of the handle makes my arms go numb, and I can never quite pull on the cord hard enough to get it started by myself. I always have to find someone else to turn it on for me. And not to mention the fact that the smell of gasoline gives me a headache. So I finally decided to see if any old-fashioned mowers still existed, because I would much rather deal with something slower and time-consuming if it meant I wouldn't have to deal with using a normal lawn mower.Imagine my surprise when I found that there are /new/ manual lawnmowers, and I can just order them from Amazon! So I decided I had nothing left to lose, and I would give it a try.Best. Decision. EVER.NOTE OF ADVICE: If you have difficulty putting it together (specifically, attaching the handle to the blade part), find someone with more upper-body strength to help you. They'll get it done in two seconds. (it took me half an hour of attempting to do so before I gave up and waited for my sister to get home so she could help me)Also: it only cuts while you're pushing it forward, so all you have to do to move it when you're not cutting is to pull it along behind you.As for cutting grass? I love it. It works perfectly, aside from a few snags on branches that I didn't notice. If you move it forward and back a few times, you can cut even tall weeds! Much easier than pulling them out by hand in the areas that the normal gas mower can't reach. It's not silent, but it's also not the deafening roar of a gas mower. If I had to describe the sound, I'd say it's a whooshing sound, and much much quieter than a gas mower. Plus, you don't have to deal with your arms vibrating or constantly having to turn the mower back on!No more buying gas, no more struggling to pull on the cord hard enough to turn the mower on, and no more complicated wire-pulling to turn it off.All I have to do is push forward, and the grass gets cut. Stop walking, and it stops cutting. It's easy to maneuver, and it's not so heavy that I can't pick it up and carry it up a flight of stairs to my porch if I need to.I'm never using a gas mower again.

Great for a Maintained yard
I wanted something simple and light to maintain my lawn and this is exactly what I was looking for. It was easy to assemble, but I did have to watch a video. The mower is light enough to pull out and use any time. Its easy to push and the blades are very sharp. I personally put on my earbuds and listen to an audiobook while I mow usually. I appreciate how quiet it is since there is no motor. It’s great because I can have my young kids in the yard and I can talk to them as needed. While it will does tall grass, you will just about destroy yourself while doing so because you will have to go over sections so many times. Honestly I don’t even bother I use a weedwacker as soon as the mower gets stuck. Then use the mower to even out the grass. Tall grass/weeds will also get tangled/wrapped around the sides of the mower and need to be cleared often as you cut. It’s a complete nightmare. It’ll definitely be better to use this mower as a way to maintain an already cut lawn. It’s definitely affordable though and better then just using a weedwacker on your entire yard. To clean the sides I just use shears to clear it.
