American Government: Power and Purpose

The book is kind of dry and so it makes it hard to read, but it was needed for my American Government class so I didn’t really have a choice. On the other hand the norton website as outlines, fact cards and quiz test to take online for free so that is a major bonus. As far as the shipping and stuff the book came in on time and is very good shape so no complaints there. I have it 3 stars due to the online resources.

If you have a serious interest in American Government then you will not be disappointed with this text. It is well written and to-the-point! It is presented in a somewhat scientific (maybe just Academic?) manner, but interestingly, and with clear and concise language. Great examples and brief discussions but nothing superfluous. It moves along well in it's presentation of 'truck loads' of important and valuable information about the various branches of American Government, and with all the necessary references. You will be remiss in your studies if you fail to collect this excellent book!! Mr Dick

Nothing like getting to the last 2 weeks of classes and realizing this is the CORE book, not the full one. It was good up to that point.

Well this is not the full version , it gets to ch 14 , if you need this for a class you pretty much need to order another book , because when you contact the seller to get the other chapters , the answer is we didn’t sell this ebook to you, contact the seller and it goes on and on and on

Considering I am subject to the condition of this rented text book when I return it, I'm not happy about the condition it arrived in, small tears in the cover etc...

I buy the e-book when I need it, good content, cheap, and easy to use
