Awesome Rocks for my Aquarium
Added a bag of this into my new 55 gallon aquarium mixed it with my natural pea gravel. It looks awesome. I did rinse it beforehand but it didn't need it that bad. I probably could have dumped it right in and it would have been fine. It isn't leeching anything into the water or losing it's color or quality. Great bag of rocks!

Nice size rocks, the color is good.
I liked that the rocks were fairly clean, even though I rinsed them before hand there was very little dirt or residue coming from the rinse water. I liked the size of the rocks also, they are easy to clean when changing water and removing waste from the bottom of the aquarium.

BEAUTIFUL, SMALL, POLISHED, BLACK Top Dressing Rocks
I found a lot of the reviews less than helpful because I could not accurately determine size and coverage. I'm hoping to help you out here. These are exactly what I was looking for: Dark black, shiny, small, top dressing rocks for cacti/succulents. See pics. A couple notes:1) PRO TIP: Make sure you are clear on what color rocks you want. Turns out that hand picking out 5lbs of "wrong-colored" rocks is less fun than you might think. See pics :-). For your viewing pleasure, I offer you pics of two options: black (works) and multi-colored (did not). (The last pic is the "wrong" color rocks that had to picked out by hand. Eye roll.) The shiny black rocks DO look better with cacti. That's the truth.2) SIZE: These are SMALL -- varying in size from... a french green pea to a small red kidney bean (or occasional edamame bean).3) POLISH: They ARE "polished" with something. I'd guess it is some kind of sprayed on wax or oil. Either way -- DO NOT PUT THESE IN YOUR FISH TANK! Unless you FIRST want to hand scrub the stuff off or something. (Which would be nuts.)4) COST for SMALL rocks: They work out to about a buck sixty-ish per pound. Yes, you can get them for about a buck at a local big box home improvement store. Or. You can get them delivered TO YOUR FRONT DOOR THE NEXT DAY by PRIME. Uh, but sure. Go jump in your car if you want to save a few bucks (you might want to call ahead and make sure the big box store has some in stock.) [P.S. I'm less convinced the BIG rocks are worth it to purchase online. Because you will likely need more -- rock size predicts your likely project -- it just isn't cost effective. You can get 2-3x the amount for half or less the cost at your big box store.]5) COVERAGE: These small ones are more difficult to estimate than the larger ones I bought. However. The pic with five cacti in a round bronze planter -- diameter is 13 inches. I used about 5-6 "handfuls" to provide good coverage about about 1.5 rock depth coverage. I HAVE BARELY MADE A DENT in my 18lb box of rocks (unlike the big rocks I bought from the same company). I'm guessing I could do about six more 12-13 inch planters at a depth of about 1.5 rocks deep. Easily.Hope the pics help!

Nice looking rocks.
The rocks had a lot of broken ones , but that may have happened in shipping. The bag had a hole that was taped and they came out in the box that had other items in it. The box had also been taped at some point, but we lost a couple pounds somewhere along the way I would guess. But what did arrive are nice looking rocks. At some point I will order more, just not sure it will be from this seller.
