Keep mine in an outdoor bar cabinet in FL. Never had a bug in it yet and everything is very dry.

I use these to fit fabric in and keep tucked away. Works great.

These are pretty good storage boxes. I like that they have the gasket on them to help protect against dust and other dirt. I store mostly video games and books in these, and they can hold a surprising number of games and books if packed well. The one drawback to these is that the walls feel a bit thin and the handle attachments are weak, with a couple of the handles on one of them that I opened and closed rather frequently breaking on me after only a few months. I bought some Ziploc WeatherShield containers with a similar gasket, and the plastic on them seems much thicker and the handles are sturdier and still haven't broken even after months of frequent use, and they are just as roomy, but the Ziploc containers are a bit pricier. So if you are planning to just store some items in your closet and won't be frequently opening and closing the containers, and you won't be moving the containers around a whole lot, then these are great and save you a bit of money. If you plan to open and close the containers a lot and are frequently moving them in a manner where they might take a beating, I would recommend getting the sturdier Ziploc containers.

I two of these boxes, as the description said the special gasket makes an AIRTIGHT SEAL ........ to keep my seed collection and medical supplies in. I just received them and put some water inside and turned upside down, (as you would to test for being airtight) water poured out, no different to the normal plastic storage boxes without a gasket really. For nearly $70 I would not have purchased these if I knew they were not airtight, NOT FAIR and false advertising really. I wouldnt even give one star but I had to to leave a reveiw.
