I am a diabetic. And I don't know if I should ever buy this cake again. Because you can't just eat 1 bite. You can't just eat 1 slice. You actually sit there and almost eat the whole entire thing. Even though you know it's going to put you in a diabetic coma, because it's so freaking delicious. You can't stop eating it. It is impossible to put down the spoon or fork or whatever it is you're using to eat it with. I used a spoon. Cause this is what I had on me at the time and I'm telling you, it is so freaking good, I didn't know what to do because I was not expecting it to be that moist and spongy and full of flavor I mean, you could taste the rum, the coconut, the. I am buying these for Christmas and giving them out as Christmas gifts. And I think I'm going to buy 2 for Thanksgiving and put it on the Thanksgiving table and serve it with custard and put a bowl of custard in the middle and the people can put the custard on their cake, but you don't even need that because it's so. Delicious II believe if I take this to Thanksgiving. Everybody's gonna be fighting over who gets another slice. Not not who gets a slice or not. Who gets another slice? Cuz? You're never satisfied with just one slice of this cake. I am not kidding if you love ROM, and you love coconut. And you love spongy, moist softness. That is not too sweet, but not under sweet. It's not over wet, it's not under, it's not dry, definitely. It's, I'm telling you it was perfection, perfection, perfection, perfection.Except if you're diabetic, because I did suffer from it and um. I would do it again knowing it's going to make me sick because it's that delicious. 🤧 i wish you made bigger ones for bigger families to share in holiday times because is this one? It's not big enough, it's just not big. Enough please make it bigger.

Cake is very moist and delicious with great flavor. When I saw how small the delivery box was I thought they sent the wrong size but this was the 32 oz cake. It is very heavy because it is so moist and wet packed with that butter & rum. Now I want to try the other flavors like Tortuga Rum Original or the Pineapple. Yum...

So I’m West Indian, I’m used to strong “run cakes” after reading sone of the reviews I was hesitant to buy a larger loaf because I wasn’t sure myself or my family would like it. This was a test cake,it is pricey. Cake quality: moist and fresh . There’s not much alcohol in it but it does have a strong alcohol flavor possibly given the small size of the cake , I’m wondering if the pound loaf will have such a strong alcohol flavor too . It’s delicious, but it does have a very strong rum flavor, bear that in mind if you aren’t a fan of strong rum cakes . I love it, I’m anxious to try the other selections before gifting them though , my mom makes her own rum cakes every Christmas, this reminds me of her cakes. Conclusion: Moist and fresh cake … delicious if you like cakes with a strong alcohol flavor, this is it!

The cake is very small about by 50%. The rum taste to strong by my mouth.It’s a moist cake, a small piece goes a long way as it’s heavy but somehow it works with this cake. So it will go a long way. Taste is good not too sweet. Just a to strong rum thing but you might like it. You are ordering a rum cake after all.The price is commensurate with our time but a bit high for my budget, holidays.UpdateUpdated from 3 to 4 starsThe last piece of cake was better than the first and the cake lasted a week moist. The rum calmed down.PS found out, after opening it up let in sit in the box 24=hours. The rum taste will come back to good.If it’s a gift make sure they like lots of rum.At least a year later.I finally bought it again, it was so delicious, however call be a fussier. No rum. They took it out our there is so little you can’t taste it. Still a great tasting cake. More rum please..

The rum cake is fantastic, but it is so overpriced. It’s ridiculous. The poundcake literally fit in the palm of my hand. Definitely not worth it.

Just the best! Purchased many times when cruising and now being able to purchase through Amazon is fantastic. Since we can’t go cruising (because we got a greyhound who has separation anxiety). This is cake is so worth it and now being able to purchase one of our favorites really makes us so, so happy to remember all the good cruising times! And we do love our spoiled boy. :)
