I love the way this shelf looks. The biggest issue I have with it, is that the wood shelves simply slide onto the metal support poles with no way to secure them on. So I find myself pushing the shelves back to stay flush with the wall as they'll begin to come forward just a bit every now and then. I also recieved no instructions whatsoever. It was a pretty straight forward installation, but for those with little to no experience, that might be a bit frustrating. There is also a strange ring of some sort of the front of the bottom shelf that won't go away -- it almost looks like a ring you'd get from setting a cold beverage on a tabletop without a coaster. Overall though, it looks like, but I would maybe consider something more secure if I knew then what I know now.

We installed this ourselves. Very easy and sturdy! It’s beautiful! We are very happy with more space in our small kitchen.

I was expecting rustic, I was expecting walnut, what I got was a 2 x 6 pine board so freshly stained that it stained my fingers And I had to put the boards outside because they smelled. The metal hardware is what’s keeping me from returning this but I think I’ll be refinishing these boards myself.

Just finished assembling this myself and was pretty easy to build with just one person! These shelves add a lovely industrial/rustic feel, and feel heavy and well-made.The unit came with dry wall anchors and screws, my only gripe is that the shelves looked a little more cool toned in the product photo, but they look a little more warm toned in person, but it doesn’t bother me too much.Overall, would definitely recommend!

I ordered 2 of these shelving units from the pic you can see I wanted to have a taller shelving unit for my wetbar. When receiving I cut the brackets so it was uniform with 5 shelves so 2 shelves would not be stacked on top of each other. This is when the problems started. The holes were not drilled in the same spot from 1 unit to the other. Also the space between units was 7.25 on first shelf and 9 on the other. As you can see from pics I did drill new holes and modified things and it looks great. If I had needed 1 shelf I would have rated it a 5 but when you order 2 of something you expect them to be the same. Could not return as I had cut the brackets and shelves to fit in the space. UPDATE: Unexpectedly after leaving this review, company sent a replacement shelf, what EXCELLENT customer service!!

I have to praise my husband here… we are new homeowners and don’t have much “handy” experience.Not only do the shelves come individually, but so do the metal brackets! And like everyone else said- NOTHING to securely fasten them on. We have talked about maybe backing it up with command strips or magnets to make sure they don’t slowly move over time, or if our guest touch them(guest bathroom).Also, no instructions.He used a large level(makes a big difference compared to a small one) and a level line projector as well.

I absolutely love it! It is a perfect addition in my half bath.The wood still smelled strongly of stain when I opened the box which really isn’t a big deal. I thought I would mention it though in case anyone had issues with string smells.

These shelves are *almost* perfect. They're a little crooked when hung straight which is a little annoying but not too bad. The most egregious thing about these though is that one of the shelves REEKS. They all smelled terrible when I first opened them, but I sprayed them down with water and vinegar and let them bake in the sun (I did this 4 times) before hanging them. Two of the shelves smell fine now but the one, oof it still smells pretty bad. We put it on the top so as long as you don't linger near it too long, you won't smell it too much. I'm hoping with time it will go away. Otherwise this is great, really sturdy and looks nice.
