I took a chance on ordering the child’s size (only size offered) It fit an adult male comfortably. We’ll made and impressive style.

I got this for my son’s school project and it did exactly what he needed it to. We received it quickly and it seems to be well made. He said it was comfortable.

Convinced a youth to dress as Martin Luther for Reformation Day at church. This cap topped the costume perfectly!

The fit was true to size, however, the fabric reminded me of the cheap material used to make inexpensive Halloween costumes. If you’re going for a more historical look, this may not be the hat for you.

Adult size fits my adult son well. I (mom) would probably need the child’s size. Fabric says polyester and spot clean. Hot sweaty Renaissance Faire days will require more than spot cleaning, but, for the price, worth the risk of trying to gently hand wash. It does seem to be well made. Looks better than your average costume attire. Renaissance Faire attire can get expensive so an inexpensive piece here and there can help create a great look, as you look for the perfect authentic attire to buy from local artists over time. We are away from home, and what we have collected over the years. This hat will do just fine for us until we can get back to our wardrobe at home.
