These barrels are very sturdy. A lining bag filled with shredded paper, which conforms to the shape of the barrel, is still relatively easy to pull out without much "suction". Great product, big, but the 45 gallon barrel is not too big.

I like the weight and build quality. I came up with the idea to use it for water changes in my aquariums and reuse the water if it’s not too icky. And it’s the right size for just that purpose.👍😊👊🏻

This has been an outdoor trashcan for us for close to five years now, and it's still as good as the day we bought it.

I've used these bins for more than a year and highly recommend them. I've never used them for trash. The tight fitting lid is an essential component for me, since I have two bins up on my roof where the wind can be strong. Up there, they get full sun and are doing just fine (I bought white bins). I will erect a shelter for them though, then they will last as long as I'm around. I have connected these two bins with hose pipes, and there's a filler pipe goes that into one and an exit pipe that runs out the other. The purpose of these bins in my roof garden irrigation is to change the water acidity to better suit particular plants. I have another, single bin serving the same purpose in another part of the garden, and the fourth bin I have attached a platform with 5" wheels that I use to cart random stuff around, including garden dirt.

It arrived smelling of heavy toxic, cigarette-like chemical smells. Was really grimy and dirty all over. Had about 10 different stickers on it that were not the easy remove kind. Just annoying but not sure that’s Rubbermaid’s fault.

Love these trash bins. Super tough and easy to load or insert plastic bag to fill bag.

Heavy duty, priced right, delivered quickly - what more could you want?

Our trash company picks up recycling every 2 weeks, so we needed a large can to hold it, as our trash company does not provide cans. Rubbermaid "Brute" trash cans are the only way to go. Very high quality and sturdy, they can take a beating when the trash collectors are less gentle than they should be. I could not find the blue recycling can at my local big box stores, so Amazon was the way to go. The can comes delivered in no packaging but does have a big shipping label you will have to remove.

Do far so good. I'm a aquarist with a salt water tank. I use this to hold my salt water mix before water changes and this has not let me down yet. Also the accessories for this are awesome. The wheel cart in particular is worth every penny.
