While some might use these pottery dishes for sauces, small appetizers or even desserts, I bought them because my geriatric cats can manage to eat wet food or crunchies from them without making a mess. They work great for this -- the little sides keep yummies corralled within the dish and the dish itself is not too deep for the very last crumb to be located and devoured. The subtle color is an extra bonus just for me ... they are truly lovely.

We use these to feed our bearded dragon, they are perfect and can be thrown in dishwasher.

I used these for herbs and oil next to black bread baskets for a party. looked and worked great. perfect size for this. would make good soy sauce dishes for individual use as well. packaged well. reused the packaging for storage

These are nice little dishes but they do not stack well.

I ordered the Mocca, and happy to say, it looks like the picture. They all came in good condition, no breakage. I enjoy Japanese food and these are fine for a small side dishes, fir one person, pickled cucumbers, or sauce, etc ... The description says porcelain/ceramic, which explains you need to be a little more delicate with them to avoid breaks, however that's a problem since they do not stack. They slip and slide on top of each other, and there is no way to stack safely when storing in your cabinet. I can see how accidents can happen with these. There is nothing written on the bottom stating microwave or dishwasher safe. If you need to warm the dish in the microwave, I wouldn't for more than 30 sec. but you also don't know what finish was put on these. So small, handwashing would be better. These do look good and seem okay, but with the stacking issue, I would probably look for a different kind if I start having breakage issues.

Came in perfect condition! Nice shallow bowls perfect for dips and sauces. They aren't made to stack, so keep that in mind if that's what you're looking for!

Great quality. Better than expected!

I love these! They are adorable, have a clean and masculine look yet feminine at the same time. I know it doesn’t make much sense but the lines are clean. They have the perfect depth for sauces or ginger/wasabi as a side dish to a meal. HOWEVER, I’ve only had mine less than 24 hours and I already dropped 1 of mine 😭 it didn’t shatter which was great but it did break into 3 pieces. I’m sad. At least I still have 5 left.

I ordered these dishes for side dishes and they are perfect for what I need. I would have given at least 4 stars if not for the fact that they arrived covered in tiny, fiberglass particles. The box they arrived in was sealed, however as soon as I opened it and took out one of the dishes, I both saw and felt the particles all over it. Very disappointing since they are the perfect size for what I need, however if I ever need anymore I definitely will not be repurchasing.
