Worth it
Works great and saves time. No, it won't cut sched 80 and never pretended to. It works great so far having made 20+ cuts. Make sure you square the cutter before you start - seat the bottom portion on the pipe. It won't cut perfectly square but that's not needed - it cuts clean and no need for trimming. Overall it's expensive but well made and does the job. Better than the ragged cuts from a Sawzall.

Great cutter
This thing is the best I've used, single hand operation is amazing.

Works great. One word of caution
Works great. One word of caution, if you live in cold climate let the pipe warm up to room temp before trying to cut. It will shatter even is slightly cold.

Nice cutter but not a 90-degree cut on larger diameter pipes
Was surprised that this did not work as well as I had hoped. I could not make cuts on a 2-inch Sch40 PVC pipe to be perfectly 90-degrees. The blade would start to veer or deflect a little sideways halfway through the cut. It gave me a little scoop to the cut. The effort to cut things was great. Very little effort, though lots of clicks, with the ratcheting action (I'm a guy with medium hands). On thin-walled plastic pipe, the blade squeezed the pipe and pinched it before it started cutting. For more brittle plastics, this caused the tube to splinter longitudinally. Not good.I ended up returning this one and getting the Capri Tools version which looks more like the C-clamp style. The cut is not quite as clean and takes longer, but it is a 90-degree cut with no debris.

Smooth and accurate
Cheaper and better than Milwaukee similar model. I own both but retired Milwaukee due to crooked cuts

Cant cut larger sizes of pvc conduit.
It’s rated to cut 2” sch 40 pvc conduit but when I tried it was way too hard even with 2 hands. I returned it right away. I have the smaller model that cuts 1/2” to 1-1/4” pvc conduit sch 40 & 80 and it’s the BEST for those sizes.
