Excellent Quality Producy, Great Buy
I've bought cheap and expensive climbing sticks. These are closer to the cheap end on price but the quality is definitely on the high end. Each step has steel turned at a 90° angle so your boots won't slip up when you're going up with wet or muddy soles. Really impressed with the overall product. Only drawback is that it's was kind of a pain to get them lined up good enough (when connecting them) in order to get the pins through the holes. But, if I'd just had a rubber mallet or hammer I could have adjusted them more easily. This was probably just a side effect of the black coating to keep them from rusting, so I didn't mind the extra work. All in all, excellent buy.

Decent Steps But Better Options.
Sticks Are Decent. Easy To Set. My Only Complaint Is They Pop And Creek When The Wind Blows. Because Of This I May Switch To Sectional Tree Steps Rather Than This Style Of Put Together Sections To Make One Stick. The Noise It Makes With Wind Does Not Seem To Bother Deer. I’ve Had Deer Underneath Me And Also Bed 20 Yards From Me Not Caring The Noise They make.

Awesome Price, well built, sturdy, solid year round stand.
For a ladder stand you are leaving up for a good amount of time, or private land hunting....this is very low profile to the tree, and you can get it super tight on the tree with the straps provided. This stand literally feels like it becomes one with the tree when fully tightened. Very secure. If you are more of a public land hunter and looking to take your stand down after every hunt, these probably are not for you. I have found these too noisy in the morning and after the night hunt with the metal buckles and metal ladder, and packing out super long distances isn't very ideal, especially while carrying a bow. So in conclusion, super sturdy and solid stand, but probably not the best for long distance hunts or public land where it is law (depending on your state) to take your stand down after your hunt.

Solid set of climbing sticks
I have 6 sets of these and they go up and take down fast once you get used to them. Just bought another set to add to my existing sets to get a little higher. They can snug up tight and dont budge once they are in tight and proper. I put them up in August and take them down in February. Tons of rain here in Florida and have had no rust issues yet and this will be my 5th season with these.

Can't Waite to use in fall
Bought this to use with a climber stand I plan on leaving in tree for several days or so. Wanted to be able to leave stand up off ground leavel so deer won't see it and less noise and time when getting in and out. Tested in our in a tree already very durable and comfortable to climb

Millennium climbing sticks are great. The supplied straps work great and secure the sticks such that it feels strong and safe. Probably not ideal for someone that wants pack them in and out every day but they are not too heavy.

Went together easily, welds all perfect . Straps good and easy. Don’t know why I used foot pegs all these years. Priced well . Better than any other I’ve tried

Not just for hunting!
I purchased this stick climber to allow me to get a different perspective in landscape photography. Strapped to a full frame backpack, its a heavy piece of gear to hike into remote areas with, but I am so impressed. My challenge was to climb into older growth Red Spruce trees about 20" DBH with no branches for 20' or more. Once into the branches, I can climb as normal - the stick climber gets me to that. The view from up top is astounding!I did a practice setup at home, and watched a couple Youtube videos for suggested methods. I chose to set it up by starting with the top section, lifting up 4' and inserting another below. I repeated this until all sections were assembled, leaning on the tree. I then secured the trunk straps as I climbed. On my first attempt in the wilderness, I think it was about 10 minutes to be fully installed. Very nice.I need to reach a bit higher than the 20' in the kit. Although extra sections are available individually, purchasing another full kit costs about the same as buying three extra middle sections, and comes with "extra" bottom and top sections. It's much easier and portable than I expected - I need to get a blind now, and use it for bird watching in the forest canopy!
