5 LB Bag Raw Spanish Peanuts Unsalted Unroasted,Product of USA

I ordered these peanuts to make candied peanuts for Christmas gifts. They arrived shrink wrapped and in great condition. The bag was marked organic and the peanuts were definitely raw. They weren't too tiny, but nice sized peanuts. The candied peanuts turned out awesome! After letting them cool, they were crunchy and delicious. I couldn't stop tasting them. I made some with vanilla and sea salt, and some with red pepper and cinnamon and sea salt. Everyone loved both flavors! I am not sure about the bad reviews. If I got some that had mold or a smell, I'd return them for another bag. It's possible a pin sized hole could have caused that. I wouldn't write a bad review without giving the company a chance to replace them. I definitely plan to order them again.Update: Bought these for a second time Dec. 2023. They arrived as before, in great condition. This time they do not appear to be jumbo sized. I'll use them anyway as I did before, but a tiny disappointed they aren't larger.

I have bought 2 times, best raw peanuts ever! I use for making peanut brittle for the last 40 years. Never has failed and ends in wonderful brittle. Only wish they could also sell in a smaller bag or explain how to store for a year? If possible, l could use a bit more then the 5lb. Bag.They are organic, but those products are grown without any chemicals ,so it’s a gamble when you buy organic!! I only wish the packages would also come in a bit smaller size also, l usually need a bit more then 5lbs. Maybe a two lb. bag.? Vender could maybe tell me how to store for a year?if possible?

I still think it is a good product, but the price has gone up. Why?Everyone is raising prices due to the pandemic, an opportunity to make some more money?

Great peanuts! Great price! Great service! I can’t say enough. I could tell the company they are welcome to send the peanuts at a cheaper shipping price. I think they came in two days.I’d been looking for quality organic peanuts at a reasonable price after stores in my area stopped carrying much in organic. (Much that was of good quality, I mean.)These are raw. I bake them at 350° for 25 minutes from a non-preheated oven. Spread them in an even layer across a cookie sheet. (no peanuts piled up) I line it with foil. They’ll go to overcooked pretty fast so be careful until you know what works in your oven. Thirty minutes was too long in mine. I haven’t tried other ways, like cooked in oil. I’m happy with the way they are.

The nuts look and smell good opening the package and seem to taste good. However, no certification label for being organic. Says Product of USA however, one customer answered country of origin Mexico! I emailed them on their site and no response. I bought these to Sprout and use. I have sprouted beans and seeds and grains for 40 years. These will not sprout and I cannot return. Not satisfied. I will try roasting them to make nut butter, however, I wanted RAW sprouted nut butter!

Where are all the organic peanuts?!?!?! I cannot find any locally!!! I bought these once before and I found them fresh and good quality. They are pricey for sure for peanuts! But I cannot seem to find them at ANY of my local food stores including Whole Foods! So I took a risk, paid the price and i was happy. I reordered them over a year later and they never came. Food on Amazon is not refundable, but I called customer service and they did refund me even though it said they were delivered about 3 weeks after I ordered them. So sadly I won't try again. If you choose to take a risk, Amazon did have my back and they were a good product, just saying if you want them fast or for some event, don't rely on it :)
