Great price for a good product
I'm buying a 2nd one for a different place so yeah I liked it. Great price. Super easy install. Only thing is it did start to bow on a bit when after years of use. I use it for wet clothes from swimming or part dry from dryer. I also used it fully extended. For a shower curtain it would be fantastic. In fact I'm repurposing the old one to hang a shower organizer, which is designed for over a door, but works fine over the tension bar. So if you're hanging lots of clothes it'll probably hold up fine, especially if not overly stretched, but definitely good for shower curtain.

Reliable and good value
I found this to be super easy to install and has good grip. I am using it to hang a grommeted curtain over an exterior glass door for warmth and privacy. It works beautifully. The one it replaces was too flimsy and sagged. We love it.

Works well
It does what I needed it to do: hang blackout curtains -inside- the window frame. It felt a little flimsy, so if you expect to be moving curtain rod to different places to use at different lengths, I would probably consider using something else. However, if you plan to get it in place and be done with it, it's a great product. It's holding up well and was simple to put in place, even with semi-regular heavy curtains that hang on the rod itself, not hooks (meaning it had to be on the rod itself as it was put in place). You could do far worse.- - | U P D A T E | Nov 08, 2015| - -The rod has been up hanging semi-regular heavy blackout curtains for six months and it's still going strong. When it was first used it had to be re-tightened a few times, as traffic by the window caused it to slide down a bit, but since the beginning few times, it hasn't needed to be touched at all. Definitely glad I chose this rod when I was shopping for one.

Junk
Second time buying this rod. I’m not sure what possessed me to buy it the second time. Have a tiny window in the shower that needs a shower curtain for privacy. First one never worked properly and was always a pain anytime I wanted to wash the shower curtain. This brand new one right out of the package broke as soon as I started rotating it to adjust it.

Works as expected, holds up nicely too!
My wife and I bought this curtain rod to use along with an IKEA Mavas ([...]) to make a makeshift storage unit for our newborn. The Tension Rod fits perfectly in the center section of the unit and allows us to hoist up almost all over our baby's clothes. The Rod is of outstanding build quality and takes all of 3 seconds to install and feel comfortable with. It's been holding up nearly 30 or 40 lbs worth of clothes for the last 6 months and has never fallen or dropped, and in the case that it needs to be repositioned it goes to slack easily even after all this time. The pain is holding up great with no dents, scratches, or fading.Highly recommended!

Won't stay up
This rod is the right color and length for my shower stall, and adjusts quickly when you read the instructions. The end caps are a hard slick plastic so the rod falls off the glossy tiles every day or two. I had to purchase some soft rubber chair leg caps and use them instead. Like other reviewers, I spent considerable time getting the print from the labels off the rod as well (finally got it done with Goof Off).. In general, another case of "you get what you pay for". - too bad it was one of the very few choices for a shorter length rod.

NO FUSS!
I needed some new curtains in my home and found these while they were on sale. They were cheaper than going out to the store to buy so I decided to give these a try. I actually didn't expect much from these rods since I did see some negative reviews on here, but they work well for me and stayed intact. I have very light curtains but these can definitely take on some weight.Note: It's best if you don't stretch the rod too far as it causes the downward force distribution to become unbalanced. My walls were 28in apart, for the reference.
