This is an excellent heavy-duty hand truck for a great price. Assembly was straight-forward. I was tempted to take 1 star off because there was an optional (non-essential) free part included [called MAG-LOC] but this optional free part was missing its instructions and bolts/nuts, and at first I didn't know what MAG-LOC was for, so I was briefly confused. [The essential assembly instructions and bolts/nuts were included and were fine, so I decided NOT to take a star off.] These optional free MAG-LOC parts (there were a PAIR of them) are to be bolted onto the back of the frame to help better secure loads with user-supplied straps. I easily found the MAG-LOC assembly instructions .PDF on the Magliner website. And as for the missing 4 bolts/nuts to anchor these MAG-LOCs, I got them on the web cheap at a place called bolt depot, or I suppose they could be found cheap at a high-quality old-style hardware store if you have one handy. I didn't feel like complaining about this, nevertheless I wanted to tell you the story. As I said the MAG-LOC is completely non-essential, and the main assembly went fine and all essential parts were all there, so I'm satisfied.

I bought this for my husband because he wanted a lighter hand truck that was just as tough as his heavier one. He put it together the day it came, and although he did not have the correct tools to put it together, that didn't stop him, he's a carpenter so he is used to improvising. It has been several months, and the hand truck has held up quite nicely, no flat tires, etc. Highly recommended, and coming from a tool snob like my husband, that says a lot!

I work at a gas station, stocking the coolers. This dolly is certainly overkill for what I do there, but I'm still glad I bought it. The difference between this and your cheapo 50 dollar Walmart dolly is night and day. It glides across the floor with ease, no matter the weight on it. The larger plate is very nice to move big loads.The only thing I might change is the shape of the nose plate. It is thicker in the center area and thins out to the front edge. This makes unloading extremely easy, but it makes loading a bit tricky. The stacks are always going to be just a bit angled with this plate.

Well thought out design, easy to assemble, commercial quality. As soon as you use it you realize the quality, if you prefer well made equipment you will be delighted.

Magliner makes the best hand trucks, it is worth paying extra for a quality product. Easy to assemble and ready to work.

Or at least it will be when I feel like taking it apart and flipping the axel brackets around. The instructions on the other hand, absolutely suck!

Bought it for moving rocks and railroad ties at my cabin. Big base great for setting things on. Big pneumatic tires great for dirt. Wide handles for managing load.
