For those who are wondering, helium is NOT essential. But you will need a STRAW. We were able to blow them up using a straw quite easily. The confetti balloons were the prettiest and most easiest to tie as they included a rubber band. Wish the others also had rubber bands included...in all it is good buy for a birthday party. Be careful while joining the happy birthday banner, the cards are color coordinated which is not mentioned anywhere. I discovered that after I had put it up on the wall. The white ribbon provided for tying is sufficient.

Excellent value for your money! I can’t believe I got so much for $16!!! I bought a 30 balloon helium tank from target and inflated 2 large number balloons and many small balloons that came in this package. There is still a lot of helium left for voice changing! There is a sash, cake topper, ribbon, happy birthday banner. This was truly a great purchase for my fresh teenager!

Love this set! Better than expected. The color is prettier in person. Very very nice. The confetti balloons are gorgeous and have large confetti in them. So when they do pop not too much of a hassle cleaning up the mess. Worked out great- made my 13 year old very happy

This is a solid product. The "13" balloons were a big hit. The other decorations & balloons are really nice. Our daughter loves the confetti balloons especially.
