This is a nice sized carrier and seems built well; It's what I'd expect for the price. It was easy to assemble; just 7 bolts. I was shocked to discover that It did not include the pin that secures it to the hitch receiver. The detailed description discloses that it's not included. Shame on me for not looking more closely before buying, but that seems like a pretty standard part that should be included.

Really heavy duty and very easy to assemble . Cannot accurately evaluate the "weatherproof"ness of the unit until it's on the road for a few trips. Coating appears to be average, and will probably require some touch up painting down the road. If you are planning to get a waterproof bag to protect you items, you may find a unit with square corners on the deck of the carrier better, IF you intend to build an internal frame for the bag out of PVC. I got a 59X24X24 bag, and had about an inch and a half difference in both the width and depth measurements between the base and top frame. Clearly, a secondary consideration

I liked that it was the size that I needed, fairly sturdy with a good powder coat finish for durability. On the downside a couple of the bolt holes did not quite match up and I had to drill them out. Also where the hitch insert bolted to the carrier, there is a little play even tho the bolts are tight so I inserted shims to correct that. Overall I'm happy with the purchase price, the delivery was fast, and I have used the carrier with success.

Do not buy this product. I attached this product to my Reese trailer hitch to transport a small refrigerator. I locked the product and the tow hitch and someone stole it while I was at Lowe’s.

The product was exactly as described. Easy to assemble and install. I use it on the back of my RV to haul extra supplies for camping and for a small scooter to get around when parked. The unit is very sturdy and can easily hold the rated 500 pounds. The cargo net is an added benefit, don't have to go looking for bungee cords to tie small things down. I definitely recommend this cargo carrier.

This is a very sturdy cargo carrier. It was easy to assemble and handled well when driving. It did not move around. It does not come with a pin so you have to get a pin to hold it on. We purchased the weatherproof bag from Lowe’s which was an excellent purchase too and had lots of room and straps to hold it onto the carrier.

Family of 5 and we can now put our suitcases outside the vehicle so we have more room inside. It is very sturdy and held 3 ice chests full of meat on the way back as well as a couple of suitcases. Easy to assemble and put on the car

Drove across country 2400 miles much of that was rough road. I'm impressed. With my camping gear, basic recover tools, repair tools etc. Steadying plate and straps ( I used four for extra ) it was worth the money. I was meant to have all this on a roof rack but that build is another story, so this saved the day in a serious pinch. Thank you.
