I really like how this is made from wood, rather than the plastic of typical hangboards. It helps with improving grip strength a lot, and it's great for beginners to more advanced climbers with a variety of holds. I also appreciate so much that they included extra screws, I somehow always end up with a couple screw loose :)

This is an excellent hangboard made of quality wood. Comes with all the screws you need to install above your door frame into the studs in the wall. Each of the holds feel great to hang on and there are plenty of finger slot widths to choose from. The jugs on the top are also good to do pull-ups on

Overall this a decent product whose quality is commensurate withe price. It's cheaper than the Beastmaker, and the quality is a bit lower. The item came with appropriate mounting hardware. The pockets have sharp edges that could use a good sanding to round them out.

Wide variety of holds to train on without being overly heavy or large. Out of the box you can tell it is made of solid wood construction. Installing it was pretty straightforward with 6 pre-drilled countersunk holes. I would only recommend installing into studs into the walls or use a piece of plywood if the pre-drilled holes don't line up exactly to the stud spacing in your walls. For my case, 4 of the pre-drilled holes lined up the studs above my door frame. I used an cut out piece of cardboard as buffer between my wall and the hang board to protect the paint on the wall.Great value for a solid and diverse hang board.

the fact that the can’t identify a pinch vs a pocket is disconcerting

This hang board is perfect. Made from a solid wood that is also easy on the hands. It comes with screws that are easy to install with a drill. The board is thick enough for me to get my fingers up to the second knuckle. I recommend this for anyone looking to work on finger strength and climbing.

Easy to install and very sturdy. I like that it is all wood. Less friction/ texture since it is all wood but just makes it that much better for training.
