Initially I couldn’t get a successful print with this PLA filament. It was clumpy and stringy. I ended up getting it to work through many tiny adjustments to the printer base, and the sweet spot seems to be one where the nozzle digs into the printer bed which doesn’t result in a smooth finish.EDIT: after a few days of calibration, cleaning the printer base and nozzle with isopropyl alcohol, and setting up a new spool holder, I’ve finally started getting good, consistent results. I’m changing the star rating from 2 to 5 stars.

Good value for money

I have had a lot of problems with this adhearing to the plate, when it will adhear the prints are very durable and high quality as well as being very pretty as the fillament is very metallic. It is also not too easy to sand as the layers may come apart though you shouldnt have to sand very often since the prints do come out very well.The adhesion issues I'm not sure if its because it is a metallic fillament and I have to use a higher temp on my printer for it to stick (ender 3 v2 neo) but the first layer I have to put the nozzle close to the plate and the temp pretty high to get it to stick so in the first few layers I have to watch the print closely for lifting so it is not an exactly feed and print type of fillament like others, just keep this in mind it is still a great looking fillament.

The media could not be loaded.  This PLA is great for metal effect prints , I printed this Terminator headphone holder and the video is without any post process work on my Creality K1 Max, Printed at at Speed 90 as recommended. Also bought the Gold colour for doing a C3PO head.

So, waited for this to arrive, has a lovely silky finish, but tangles in the spool so a few failed prints, didn’t want to leave unattended for too long, shame, the finish is really lovely, ps the cleaning filament supplies was irregular in thickness and stops

A lovely silky violet PLA. I am very pleased with the end result for this filament.Printed quite a few things with it now and find it adheres to bed nicely and top layer always looks nice.Attached a pic for you to see end result.

I bought two rolls of Silk Black in 2021 and just now, in 2023, opened up a roll. Still well sealed. See pic, printed on a Bambu Lab X1C on standard (still 200-300 mm/s). There's some stringing between the posts in the courtyard, but nothing you can't fix with a quick hit from a heat gun. This stuff prints beautifully and seems like more of a graphite or gunmetal, almost looks powder coated. No issues with bed or layer adhesion, prints are strong, stringing is minimal and could probably be tuned out with slicer settings.Pretty cool finish, I love the graphite color. Works great for dice towers, at least, would probably look great on sci-fi prop parts (SW, video game props, etc). Definitely recommended.

In eerste instantie had ik dit filament 4 sterren gegeven omdat ik in de veronderstelling was dat ik goudkleurig had besteld en ik het iets te rood vond. Blijkt dat ik "Rood Koper" had besteld! Dan klopt de kleur helemaal. Dus prima filament, print goed en mooie kleur!

Très joli, su per rendu, peu de contraintes d'impression un profil de base fait très bien le job. Rendu 0.12 genial
