battery compartment does not seal
I got this toy for my sons birthday and he loves playing with it. The battery compartment does not seal, it floods with water. You can't run this in a bathtub or pool with batteries.That being said my son does play with it and enjoy it without the batteries, you just don't get full functionality. I wouldn't have bought it if I knew that beforehand.

Lights, motor, water gun.
The media could not be loaded. Does what it supposed to and is a neat little toy. Lights are every colorful, motor moves boat strongly, front pump sprays water. The other boat was a bonus, that has a wind-up motor. NOTE: If you sink the big boat, battery dock will get wet and start corroding.

Don’t do it
We received the boat and got right to play. We put batteries in and headed to the pool. No sound or lights. The little cannon did shot water but after a few hours the boat stopped working and black water began leaking from the battery area. It never turned on again. It was devastating to a 4 year old. We are very disappointed and would advise anyone not to waste your money.

This is not water proof
This is a water toy. Water gets on it. Water should not get in the boat and ruin the electronics. It stopped working after the first use.

wont last long IN WATER !
my 3 yr old loves this ! we unplugged the sound "ITS LOUD". he loves the water sprayer and how fast it drives around in the tub. It would be alot of fun in a big swimming pool. HOWEVER - the battery compartment is NOT WATER PROOF ! Do not let water get into the boat !!I gave three stars because its cheap, my boy loves it, and it works great.one star for water resistance. 5 stars for suction power. what more can i say...its a cheap kids boat. ;)

I could not figure out how to make it spray water. But my grandson loves it.

Just save your money
Bought this at my toddler's request without reading the reviews. The battery compartment is not water tight and rusted out within a few days. The water spout pumped for maybe a couple of baths and then quit due to the leaking and rust. Aside from that, the tiny TINY screws that hold the whole thing together are impossibly annoying to remove to access the batteries. Zero stars.
