The best sewing kit The metric and imperial readings on the double-sided cutting mat from Nisally come in handy all the time. I sometimes use patterns from European fashion magazines and that's when I use the metric graduation system. The metal ruler is quite sturdy and once you place it on the fabric, it will stay in place. The matt also surprised me, it doesn't slip, the grip is actually impressive. And after you make the cut, the mat is the same, there's no sign of using it. The sharp blade on the rotary cutter, it didn't snag the fabric like my old one. And the handle felt nice in my hand. All in all, a good deal.

Bought this for my daughter and she was able to use it all right out of the box.The roller blade makes cutting perfect squares easy for a first time seamstress.I wish the ruler was a bit thicker but we didn’t need it since we had a quilter square already.The mat is just the right size for her to use on the kitchen table and then clean up before dinner.Great beginner product but I can already see here need for a bigger cutting mat.

I absolutely love the crips print lines of Nisally fabric cutting mat. The one I had before had the lines a bit smudged and that’s why I wanted a new one. This one is clearly much better quality. I’ve already used it for two projects and the cuts were above approach, my working table is intact so it works just fine. It smelled a bit funny when I first opened the package but it quickly faded. My son dropped something hot on it but it was okay in the end. Great product!

The mat looks very durable and the cutter is sharp and very easy to use. The blade locks in place so you don't have to hold it down manually. Love this product, very highly recommended. Great value as well.

A bit disappointing. As others have mentioned the flexible mat does get cut in use; it does not self-heal. I found it helpful to place one or more sheets of paper under the workpiece to minimize the damage.I also have found that the cutting wheel handle is really designed for right-handed folks. It is awkward for south-paws to use.

Love this product. Can’t see all the little cuts in the board like others I’ve tried before. I like how the cutter locks into place. Great price and would recommend to others.

I used this to cut thick curtain fabric and it did a GREAT job. For sure happy with this purchase.
