FolkArt Painting Stencil, 30607 Birds

The media could not be loaded.  Ordered a bunch of stencils, you can see the result in the video above. It's a lot of painstaking work though - need a lot of patience to put them on one at a time. I used the regular glue stick and blue painter's tape to stick them and paint over it with "makeup sponge". Sticking them onto the surface prevents the paint from bleeding under the stencil and will give sharp edges. for better result one should choose designs/stencils which do not have very fine/thin lines or cuts, it's difficult for those to stick to the surface and come out good.

Great stencil, I bought 2 for my wall project just in case one would broke apart or something, but I did the entire wall with just one and didn’t need the second one. I used wall paint and a makeup sponge to apply (saw a video on YouTube), because I didn’t like the result using a 1 inch paint brush. the stencil was so small and since I worked with an entire wall it took me a lot of time, like 2 or 3 days but most of the time was to refine details or change the pattern. Great material quality I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

This is a small template. There is no border for handling therefore must lift and place with care. If not using for stencil, this is a good template for block doodle or embroidery pattern. Since the size and scale are not big, this template would be a pain if you want to cover a wall.

This is an excellent stencil that is extremely easy to clean. The only flaw is that because it’s plastic it’s very floppy, so make sure you use something to hold it in place.

Love this cute stencil. Used it for the side of a drawer. Adds a pop of unexpected character. Good quality.

I live in a Spanish style condo and I use this to mimic Spanish tile on the risers of my steps. Feeling in free hand a secondary color to bring out dimension. And to make it look like time I finished with a high shine spray sealer to seal the color mimic tile completely. My friends are impressed with the finished look

Very cool design and easy clean up with a little soap and water. Needs to be painted with a sponge or similar brush .

Great quality stencil. I used as swirls coming out of a cup of coffee and on a winter scene in my art journal, but so versatile, I’m sure I will find MANY uses for this stencil!

Good price for a cute little stencil with a print you can use in many different ways. A good add to my collection wish they had more at this price

When I ordered this I didn't check the size. I was expecting it to be bigger. So I was a little disappointed. But over all for what I paid I'm happy with it. It's a nice sturdy plastic which I liked and can be used multiple times.
