Money well spent

I was a bit nervous to buy these as a lot of comments talked about how they were not accurate.Since I was not looking for something to be pin point accurate, I took a chance. When I got them, they all read fairly different. But I put them in a zip lock bag with a 62% Boveda pack for a day. They were all within 2% of that pack. Most were actually on point or 1% off.So, from my test, these are +/- 2% at the most. For the price of 12, this is good enough for me.I would imagine that if someone needs a humidity gauge that is super accurate, you wouldnt be looking at these either.Also to mention, they are very small and pretty easy to read. They do suffer from off axis viewing loss, but thats very minor.I would call this a good buy.

Works awesome and it extremely accurate

These are great "no frills" hygrometer/thermometers, suitable for lots of different uses, but I picked them for keeping track of humidity in/around my guitar cases. The fancy ones sold by music/instrument vendors use the exact same hygro/themometer sensors as the ones used in these, but cost many times what these cost per unit, just because they come in a fancier package. I literally got 12 of these for the cost of ONE of the fancier ones, and I'm quite sure these are no less accurate. I put a bunch of them out at once in the same location to verify they all give readings consisent with one another, and they do ... within 1-degree Fahrenheit on temp, and 1% humidity on all of 'em. They are also designed for panel mounting, so you can make a little stand or clip to secure them in a convenient position inside your guitar case; put them in some kind of decorative wall hanger you make yourself to keep track of humidity in rooms/sections of your house, etc. You just have to trace and cut the right sized hole for the hygrometer body, and pop it into the hole. My only small gripe is that they're packaged/shipped with the batteries already in them/on, so you have no way of knowing how much battery life is left when you get them, but that's not a big deal to me. The LR44 coin cells they run on are plentiful and cheap on Ebay ... easy to have a supply of replacement batteries handy if/when they go dark.

Product is as described.. 2 are broke. Tried batteries. Nothing. 1 is like way off. And rest are +/-4 which isn't too bad.. I kinda needed all 12 to work. But I guess it is what it, you get what you pay for. Cheap pay is cheap item. Lol 😆

Just in case you were hoping for those little plastic strips to activate them - they are all running in the box.And they throw in 4 extra LR44 batteries for fun. As to the accuracy, they all seem to be within 1 percent humidity of each other. Works for me. Previous versions of these have lasted 2 years on the original batteries, and replacing batteries usually doesn't reset the circuitry.

These were very handy during our drying and curing of our harvest this year.

These worked well and are pretty accurate! Easy to use and an easy way to know the humidity level in a container. No downside at all.

Only 2 out of 12 were within 5% accurate!You have to calibrate each one using a ziplock bag and a Bovida pack zipped together for 6 hours then piece of masking tape on back with the difference +or- of %.Good for Mason jar cannabis...just need Bovida pack and ziplock bag!

They are not accurate whatsoever they've been sitting side-by-side for about 2 weeks. This is the outcome of it sitting out here for that long you make your own determination

I will never buy those one again.
