Worked well with Weber grill
I used this for a Weber Genesis silver with the side controls. It is the right length, looks well constructed and most importantly seems to flow the right amount of gas to allow the grill to reach 550+ Degrees. I had purchased two other no name lower cost version here on Amazon and one flowed so little gas the grill barely got over 400 and the other flowed do much gas the grill sounded like a turbine and became dangerously hot. So maybe in this case it pays to get a name brand of some kind or get the original Weber one. One thing that was a little disappointing was that some reviewers had pictures of a retail package but mine came in a generic brown box with no Charbroil markings. Still the part number matched the purchase and it worked fine.

Worked perfectly for my Char-Broil grill
After several attempts to fix my grill, I finally settled on the regulator as the part that I next needed to replace. Found this one and purchased it. Aside from getting the old regulator off (it was wrenched on good) and a fight with the wasps that had built a massive nest under the grill, this was an easy swap. Grill works perfectly. Let it run for a good thirty minutes on high. Temp got up to 550 degrees and I am happy with this simple, inexpensive fix!

Best Value Ever
I tried to get this directly from the manufacturer and they wanted a HUNDRED bucks of it!! For a HOSE!? I literally could have gotten the entire grill NEW right down the street cheaper than that! Thank God for Amazon. $13 later and whammo...my grill was fixed with exactly the same hose and regulator that came with my grill and we were cooking steak about 90 seconds later. This part is that easy to replace.Oh, some advice for everyone out there that ran into the same problem we did. The reason I had to replace this hose was squirrels! See, the fat from your foods will eventually drip onto some of the gas hose underneath the grill and squirrels find that irresistable. So they eat it...and the entire hose with it. Simply cleaning the hose isn't enough, the smell remains and you'll still get an eaten hose. No, the solution is to put cayenne pepper on it! Or chile pepper or whatever really hot spices you have lying around. Just coat the hose with that (the fat drippings will keep it there very nicely) and the first lick they get is so painful they won't ever go near it again. It works on vegetables in your garden too!! So save your equipment, flowers and veggies - buy a tin of painfully hot spice powder and sprinkle liberally!

It seems like these regulators don't last very long anymore.
Was getting no flow whatsoever out of my last regulator. I don't know what's changed about regulators but these things don't seem to last but a year or two now. Gas grills from 15 or 20 years ago The regulators seem to never go out. Put this one on and it seems to work good we will see how long it lasts. It's a regulator for a gas grill. It's a whole lot cheaper than the one Weber sells. Last two regulators were Weber brand and they listed about a year each. Guess we will see on this one.
