Very easy to use - works great
Very sturdy flexible bars and easy to use with 20V cordless drill. The ball pins used for connecting the bars are strong which gives me confidence it won't come apart in use.

Say "Goodbye" to over-priced Chimney Sweep Companies!
This is a great product, one that works as good or better than advertised. My fireplace insert began bogging down late this winter, not drafting well, and allowing smoke to escape whenever we opened the doors to put in more wood. I knew that there was an obstruction near the top of the chimney by looking up the flue with a mirror. I tried making a "sweep" (I use the term loosely) by duct-taping 1/4" x 5' fiberglass rods together with a wooden "knob" at the top. I succeeded in bringing down some of the fluffy buildup, but not in clearing the blockage. I have a very steep, high roof, and at 70+ years of age I wasn't keen on trying to swab out the flue from above. The last time I had a professional chimney sweep clean the flue (we have a SS insert installed inside the original tile liner), it cost me $150. I decided to search the web for anything to clean a chimney, and I came across this product. At about half the cost of hiring the chimney cleaned, I took a gamble on it. It arrived a few days later, and it was very easy to assemble. The rods snap together positively, and can't separate (a tool is provided to depress the "key" when it's time to disassemble the rods). The head has multiple plastic "whiskers" that resemble Weed-Eater tines, and it easily passed by the damper mechanism in my fireplace. It takes a little coordination (or a helper) to keep the rod assembly from back-sliding down the flue while you're trying to attach the next rod, but it's pretty easy. I used an electric 3/8" drill to power the rod/head assembly, and did it ever do the job! Be sure to have a large tarp spread out on the hearth and floor, because the s**t is going to rain down. I would recommend a dust mask, too. The chimney was clean as a whistle after I withdrew the rods, and has been drafting great. If I had thrown this kit in the trash after one use, I would still have saved nearly half the cost of hiring it done. It appears robust enough to last through many cleanings, so the savings will accumulate with each use (and I'll be more diligent in cleaning the flue in the future). This is a truly great product!

Fast and flexible
The components were relatively easy to assemble. One of the flexible segments became disconnected during use but was easily re-attached. The brushes seemed to make good connection with the stovepipe and scraped off some soot/debris. We couldn't find anything like this locally to use in the woodstove so we had to order on-line.

Chimney clean
I feel like the these bendable rods are awesome. It worked great on my chimney. I’m sure it’ll work. Great on yours. The weight is very very light. There’s really no need for cleaning

Very easy and well built product
I just finished cleaning my 6" flue pipe. The rods are very sturdy and flexable for as thick as they are. I have a Jotul burner and it took me longer to take the guts out than to run the rods. 3 hours start to finish. I removed an amazing amount of fine soot. I believe this rod cleaning set will last a lifetime. Rods come in a nice bag/case for storage. Well worth the money.

Was easy to clean Kuma Alpine LE catalyst fireplace insert
The Alpine LE ( made in the USA) has a plate that removes on the inside upper area, without removing the catalyst. This gives easy access to the smoke shelf and chimney from the bottom. As you can see in the pictures, we used cardboard to keep any ash from entering the room and this works great. The first picture of the chimney is before and the next is after. It's worth the money. When we had a chimney sweep last year do our chimney it cost $150. And when he left, I checked the shelf and pulled a pile of ash out, he didn't vacuum it out, even though I heard him running the vacuum. And he removed the catalyst (which I instructed him he didn't need to do and offered him to look at the instruction book, which he refused and said he knew what he was doing. ) So he broke the seal on the catalyst, I had to buy another seal. When you do the job yourself, and according to instructions, you know it's been done right, and it is a whole lot cheaper! Very happy with the product!

Flexible tubing great with a drill
The media could not be loaded. I bought the Amazon renewed product and it’s basically brand new excellent condition Amazon new renewed. They always do me right the product came with gloves, the cleaner and nine flexible tubes that are 3 feet long so it’s about 27 feet. It also came with disposable bags for a cleanup, not needed for instructions self-explanatory anybody used a screw gun once you have a pretty powerful screw gun nothing too crazy it does the job. The only thing is because it’s so flexible you can’t grind, but with the spinning, it will make up for it the head of the unit is like a Weedwhacker, but with thicker plastic Seems like it’s more adorable, but not enough to do damage Really easy to assemble easy to use, and the performance is impeccable

Snap lock Failed
The rods have come apart during use. Now I pushed my luck and a few ros and the brush are stuck halfway up my chimney.
