multi-use items, well made, and more reason to love roro
This is my third order from roro and I am just as happy with these pinch bowls as with the other items. They are beautifully made, nice to touch, have a good weight, AND are dishwasher safe! Love that. They came wrapped in what I thought was used newspaper, but with a closer look I realized it's a branded packing material made to look like a newspaper (see photo). It shows some of their other products and has company info. Very clever! These pinch dishes will, of course, be useful for small food items for parties, such as olives, nuts, or candy. But they will also be great as a rest for my long, narrow tea strainer. Last night I set a tiny incense base in one of the dishes and burned incense and the dish caught all the ashes. Combined with the small plate (as a saucer) and the creamer, this makes for a great tea set for one.Super happy with this product and with this company. I will buy more from them.

Structure sub par
One of the 2 had a divit in the bowl area that was obvious. And the BLK glaze was murky looking.

Not Exactly Practical
I recently got the Roro Ceramic Stoneware Handmade Organic Matte Black Modern Minimalist Long Pinch Relish Bowls, and while they certainly make a statement on my shelves, they're not exactly the most practical pieces in my kitchen. After just a few uses, they've already started to look a little beaten up, which is a bummer considering how chic they looked out of the box.Their shape is also not the most user-friendly, as they are long and narrow, making it a bit of a challenge to pick up snacks with my fingers. Additionally, they only hold a few olives or pieces of cheese, so they're not the most versatile bowls.Despite their shortcomings, the bowls are still beautifully made and would look great on display in someone's kitchen. I'll probably end up donating them to my local thrift shop since I don't see myself using them much in the future.

Cute but very small.
These are pretty small for any kind of buffet table, as they would hold maybe 5 olives. I like them for prep work - I can keep smaller portions ready to dump into whatever I'm cooking, like a tablespoon of salt, etc. I'd consider using these for dipping bowls but they don't even hold much sauce. I may keep one by the sink for holding rings while hand washing or kneading dough.

Can't go wrong with roro.
I own several pieces of from roro's Matte Black Modern line and they never fail to impress. The handcrafted look of their ceramics is both rustic yet elegant and their glazing is deep, rich, and consistent. These long pinch bowls are no different. At just about 5" long and about .5" deep, the use of such a long, shallow bowl might seem questionable but we are continually finding new ways for them to adorn our table. The shine with spices and condiments in a charcuterie spread and are great for jams and jellies for a weekend brunch. We have even used them as pit collectors for olives. No matter the use, they always look great. While they are dishwasher safe, we always hand wash our roro ceramics to keep them safe and looking new. They are a small detail which adds that "restaurant-feel" to our table so we plan to get years of use out of our roro products.

Adorable little black ceramic dishes
These are adorable little dishes. I am not sure what I can do with them, they are so small. But they are adorable!Maybe put several sweetener packets stacked vertically, and do that with two different types of sweeteners, people are so particular these days.Or depending on how you entertain, you could have one on each table or at each end of a buffet table.I didn't realize how small these were, I didn't study the photo carefully, but that is my fault. If you serve other things in small quantities like pepperoncini flakes, they could go in there with a tiny spoon like an espresso spoon.I like the esthetics of these, and the "hand made" feel of them, although I have no idea if they are in fact hand made.I'm going to see if I can find similar larger dishes from the same manufacturer, I like the look so much!

These are really small, but beautiful.
I was hoping to use these to hold dips, spreads, or nuts on a charcuterie board, but they are way too small. These would literally hold about 4 large olives or half a handful of peanuts. As for using with dips or condiments, they are much to narrow. Maybe for dipping french fries or thin bread sticks? On the plus side, they are very well made and beautiful. The finish on them is a very nice satin black color, and they are clearly handmade and well made. Came packaged very nicely and professionally. I will definitely look into roro's other items, but I just can't find a use for these.

So Very Tiny
I don't know what I was expecting with this product, but these pinch bowls are so so so very tiny. They are about the size of my index finger. I thought they would be larger. You can put salt in them like you see in their photos, but otherwise, I am not sure what you would use these for. I thought they were going to be a bit larger so you could put sauces in to dip, but really this is too narrow to dip food in. It's microwave and dishwasher safe, but what on earth can you microwave that is that tiny? Overall I give this product 2 stars. Virtually not useable due to its small size. I regret getting this product.
