Works great
Struggle to install until I figured out the instructions were wrong. Easy install afterwards. Works great. A lot more sturdy than the factory one that was on my SR5.

Solid and well finished, fitment is fine.
OK, this was a bit problematic with installation until the trick was determined. Toss those pesky locking retainers and use a anti sieze lubricant on each bolt end. Loosely start all 6 bolts first (front, rear, middle), then go back and install the 4 spacers individually. You can easily work the spacers into the proper position without a whole bunch of effort. A floor jack at the main lift point helps especially if the plate is bent too much especially for the longer bolts in the middle. Should do the trick.

Alignment of holes
I had to drill out the holes in the rear before it would fit. The holes aren't in the exact location of where they should be. Other then that it's well built.

DO NOT BUY THIS.
Bought this product because it had enough high ratings that I thought it would work. When I tried to bolt it on the holes were at least 1/4 inch off of where they needed to be. Only two of the bolts will fit square at a time, meaning you would have to cross-thread the four remaining bolts. Just like many of the other reviews say the cut lines are very rough and the coating is very poor quality. To top it off you must pay for return shipping. Cost me $46 to return a part that is defective and won’t fit on my truck. Just spend the extra money to get the genuine Toyota part and at least you won’t be wasting your time and money.

Good build quality, cheap and incorrect hardware.
Unlike others here, the build quality, fit and finish of the one I received was surprisingly on point. No sharp edges, all cuts and welds were clean, and the primer finish was even and adequate. Even the bolt holes lined up, minus needing to remove about 1- 2mm of material from one bolt hole with a file, to ease bolt alignment. I even received detailed instructions…more on that soon.HOWEVERIt’s clear that the bolts received are far below the quality of the stock hardware. It’s a softer metal with a cheap zink coating that will surely rust sooner than later. The bolts provided are also replacing structural bolts on undercarriage crossmembers, so cheaping out here was clearly a cost savings by the manufacture, that I plan to remedy with OEM hardware ASAP.The worst part was that the bolts provided for the rear holes of the plate (AND CLEARLY STATED IN THE DIRECTIONS) were an improper thread pitch. The ones I received were M8 1.25 when they needed to be m12 1.25. Luckily the bolts that are responsible for holding on the stock skid plate are the exact pitch, diameter and length you need to secure the 2 rear holes of the plate. If you mount this plate, you won’t need them anyway, so reuse 2 of them to secure the 2 rear holes of the skid plate. If I hadn’t known any better I would have had stripped bolts or worse. *side eyes the tap and die set* For the money, the skid plate itself (of my sample size of one) was well worth the price. But I would absolutely advise you to spend the additional dollars and effort to find and use the OEM TRD skid plate hardware or else you risk a solid “class 3” kind of fun.

Big improvement over stock
Bought this to replace the rusty factory skid plate on my 2018 TRD Sport. I like it because it offers more protection over the factory skid plate and I don't need to remove the whole thing to change my oil. Install wasn't terrible and the guides on youtube are pretty helpful. Use a floor jack or a friend to help you line it up. Get the middle two bolts started by hand then get the rest lined up. Install took maybe an hour and that included getting the truck up on ramps, taking off my air dam, and prepping the bolts with anti-seize because I'm in the rust belt. Would buy again.

Good plate for the money
I bought this plate because it was an aluminum engine plate and the off roading I do wouldn't require a full drivetrain plate. My plate came with a lot of small aluminum burrs (see picture), they weren't too hard to file and sand off but were just too big to leave alone. Install was pretty straight forward if you swap the bolts (66mm front, 90mm rear) as most of the other reviews state. I used a floor jack to hold and adjust the plate as I started the bolts. A second person would have made the install much easier. My plate does have a small rattle some where on it but its not that loud. The TRD decal came from EBay, Tundra TRD Pro inserts.I haven't taken a hit on the plate yet but I'll update the review if I need to

Small Issue Good Plate
Great Skid plate for my 2020 SR5. I’ve used off road once now on a fairly difficult trail and it’s the real deal. Big upgrade as my Tacoma did not have a plate. Instructions aren’t included, but you can follow tutorials for the OEM TRD Plate just fine.KNOW THIS BEFORE INSTALL/PURCHASE***The front and middle screws/ spacers arrive incorrectly. You will need to switch them before the install. The LONGER screw and spacer must be in the front, and shorter in the middle. Don’t touch the rear. I attached a picture of how I did it, took 5 minutes to switch them all. But just a warning it so it’s not a surprise for future buyers.
