The music is beautiful and not to easy that they sound amateurish but not too hard to play.

Great beginner pieces. The Schirmer Performance Series has really useful note concerning playing each piece. The paper is non-gloss an easy on the eye.

I've been highly pleased with all the Schirmer Performance Editions I've purchased. Great page quality -- the only criticism I have is that I wish that the bars were spaced a little more compact to prevent awkward page turning. There are a number of pieces that are 3 pages that could easily have fit into 2 pages.

Mise en page claire et espacée des partitions. Seul inconvénient les textes de présentation sont en anglais. Une double traduction aurait été intéressante. Reste un excellent rapport qualité prix.

Brilliant way of developing technique whilst learning something a bit more interesting.I've only just started learning piano so thought I was being a bit ambitious to even start learning study #1 (Sincerity) but it ends up sounding really impressive for a straightforward piece with only a few troublesome patches.Absolute bargain for what you'll get back from it over the years.

Una raccolta di pezzi abbastanza facili ma d'effetto e che danno moltissima soddisfazione! Burgmüller non è mai noioso e ogni brano racconta qualcosa e crea un'atmosfera unica. Io l'ho conosciuto ascoltando "L'Orage" e ne sono rimasta talmente colpita che ho subito cercato qualcosa di suo ad un livello un pochino più accessibile :) L'op. 100 è piacevolissima, ascoltate ad esempio la "Ballade"!

Burgmuller,c'est le must pour tout élève pianiste entre la 2ème et 3ème année de piano...Les mélodies sont très belles.les arrangements soignés....Un grand compositeur,dont les pièces donnent envie de continuer le piano...Suivez le conseil de l'éditeur,en réduisant les tempos,car c'est encore plus savoureux ....

A must-have for all piano beginners and to intermediate level. All pieces sounds good melodious and you can hear them on YouTube as appertizer. A quality that you would like to practise again and again.
