These sleeves are to big to fit in my purse slots so I trimmed them down to fit. They do what they are supposed to do as I have tried to pay without taking the card out of the sleeve and it doesn’t work.

Each of the wax melts are about the size of a 10p piece in a burnt orange colour. The scent reminds me of Christmas which is never a bad thing, that said I have noticed because of the size of each piece they don’t last that long and the scent does trail off and once that pastille has melted that’s it nothing lingers unlike other melts I’ve had in the past and a lot cheaper at that so with these at the time of ordering costing £8.50 I do think this is too expensive in my personal opinion when I look at everything in a whole.

I've had quite a few UK-made Black Swan soy wax melts - and rarely been disappointed. I couldn't quite imagine how these melts smelled but as 9 out of 10 of the Black Swan melt fragrances I've tried have been very much to my taste, I felt this one could be a winner too.I'm burning it tonight in my tealight-powered wax burner - and I'm LOVING it! If you enjoy the fragrance of cinnamon, these melts will be right up your street. Autumnal, certainly - but also deeply festive. I know I'll want more of these for Christmas.These melts also include frankincense and cedarwood. The fragrance here is just sumptuous - very pronounced. It's filling my small to medium sized front room with a lovely aroma that's gorgeously spicy.I see that Black Swan have changed their packaging from card pillow packs to very sturdy boxes - still with their signature monochrome ribbon tie but more robust. Give these a try - they're one of the best festive/winter fragrances I've smelled in a long time. And I'll be back for more.

I got these Black Swan Cinnamon, Frankincense & Cedarwood Wax Melts as one of many small token presents for my wife at Charismas (she already has all the big, important stuff!). I have amazed myself by getting organised early this year. Christmas shopping by me is usually a last-minute panic & I can’t think what to buy.I carefully shaved a little wax off the bottom of one of the wax melts & put it in on the top of a tea candle, which I then lit to test the wax melt for this review. I thought the aroma pleasant & I hope that my wife, & everyone else in our home at Christmas will think so too.

Good quality Wax melts can transform a room and change the atmosphere to something wonderful or relaxing. These melts are definitely good quality.This is a pack of 8 soy wax melts. They arrive beautifully packaged in a card sleve with a bow and would instantly make a lovely gift.They are very easy to use. Just place on top of an essential oil/ wax melt burner, light your candle and enjoy. These do have a strong smell straight out the pack and when heated quickly fill the room with their aroma. You can also let it cool and reheat again to get multiple uses out of them.There's a strong hint of cinnamon,followed by a fresh woody smell. It is lovely and instantly brought back the feeling and memories of Christmas.These are a sustainable option as the wax is made from plant based soy, and the packaging is card.These are really high quality and the whole family loved them. Very disappointed with the lack of smell and size of the melt.What fragrance there was didn't last very long.
